Hi everyone!
It’s been a while since I’ve last posted one of my makeup looks. I wanted to do a few looks but at the beginning of September 2010 I had an accident (at home) and my all face got burned. It was looking pretty bad at the time and I was really scared but now after 3 weeks seems like my skin is getting better. The good news is that burnings were not that deep and after treating them I’m left with minor scars that I’m hoping they will heal in near future.
So, briefly this was the reason why I didn’t do any makeup looks because I actually didn’t want to apply any kind of makeup on my face, especially that even my skin around the eyes got burned.
Enough with the bad news! 🙂 Let’s talk about my favorite character from Illamasqua Art of Darkness Collection for Fall – Winter 2010 (exclusive photos + swatches) which is Wanton Woman.
I know many of you will be shocked because she is wearing only blue shades which I don’t like and never use (well unless someone is asking me for a review) but I love how she looks and the fact that I’m probably as pale as she is gave me courage to try this makeup.
I have some of the products needed to achieve this look and I’m talking about Superior Liquid Metal, Alluvium Pure Pigment and False Eye Lashes No. 23 (my photos and swatches) so let’s get started.
As I said I’m not doing so great when it comes to blue shades but I’ve tried to do my version and I think is not about getting the exact look of Wanton Woman but for everyone to express her alter ego with the products from this amazing collection.
Here are the products that I’ve used to achieve this look:

By the time I was done with the makeup outside was already evening so I couldn’t take photos on a natural light outside.
Photo taken with flash light 🙂
I know Wanton Woman has more color on her cheeks and two small moles but the brows were enough dramatic for me so I skipped those, especially that I had to go out that night. 🙂
Here is my final look!
I hope you had fun reading this post! What is your favorite character from Illamasqua Art of Darkness Collection?

I love this look on you, it’s great! You look gorgeous! 🙂
Thank you! but I still have something against blue…dunno why 🙂
I love blue eyeshadows. I usually wear them at least once a week (wearing blue today actually). I have dark brown eyes, so I think they go very well. Blue looks great on you too.
Blue goes great with brown eyes…but for mine which are green I like to use purples, bronzy, golden or pink shades. 🙂
You look gorgeous 🙂
Thank you Sherri! Do you have a favorite character from this collection?
I like Mistress of Ceremonies
This look looks great on you! It is a bit dramatic for me, but I remember a photo shoot I did once where they were bale to pull this look off on me. It was interesting to see my face so pale work with such dark colors.
Thanks Hillary! This makeup is way to dramatic for me too…I don’t wear these kind of looks but I wanted to try it (I didn’t had plans to go out of the house that evening) and see what I can do and I was a lil bit curious about how would I look. 🙂
The lashes are amazing and blue looks nice on you 😉 So did you go out with such look?
Yeah I did, but around 20:30 when was not so much light outside because those eyebrows were too much for me 🙂
oh wow, I’m glad you’re ok! This look is amazing, I especially love the falsies and blue eyebrows.
Thanks! I hope everything will heal completely. It was my first time when I’ve tried false lashes…but it was OK.:)
This look is gorgeous! The falses are amazing and blue eyeshadows look beautiful on you!
Thank you! Maybe I should try to wear blue eye shadows more often….they totally change my appearance. 🙂
I love those lashes on you! They make you look so mysterious.
so sad of you tavia.. but me I am suffering from acne until now and others leave a scar and dark spots.. so sad of me too. by the way, i love your version of wanton woman. You make it more simple.
Im gonna try it. I hope it works for me.
