Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Soul Drops Foundation Essence

by Tavia

Hello pretties!

I got the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Soul Drops Foundation Essence about two weeks ago, before it went online. It came packed in a beautiful mysterious black cardboard box while the foundation itself is held in a dark brown 15 ml bottle with a pipette. I love the packaging but it’s the first time I hold in my hand a 15 ml foundation bottle which claims to be full size. Pretty travel friendly though. I got me the lightest shade in Lalla and from the beginning I could say the downsize is not having more than 3 shades which I doubt it can match all skin tones. I haven’t got the chance to test it yet (I’m terrible sick for 2 weeks) but once I do, I’ll definitely return with a full review. It’s meant for all skin types, so I’m really curious to see how well it can perform on my combination skin type and how natural it will look.

Pure, simple, versatile: the Foundation Essence SKIN SOUL DROPS creates a demi-matte veil of beautifully adjustable coverage, ideal for all skin types (oily, combination, normal and even dry skin) and created to match a multitude of different natural complexions with just a few shades.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Soul Drops Foundation Essence – New – $63.00 / €59.00

  • Lalla – warm pale beige
  • Miriam – pale milky beige with peach undertones
  • Yeshe – medium tawny taupe

You can choose your desired finish with this new foundation so it’s up to you if you want a radiant finish, a matte complexion or a velvet finish. It’s about mixing RBR Skin Sould Drops with different primers, and since I already have the Original Skin Primer Genesis (review, photos) I’ll go for the velvet finish.

The Foundation Essence blends easily with any moisturiser, serum, dry oil and primer to build your personalised level of coverage. When combining the Foundation Essence with your favourite RBR primer, longevity and wear are automatically extended, allowing for a long-lasting, flawless and totally individual level of coverage.

The Foundation Essence has optimal mixing compatibility due to a complex of Jojoba, Mimosa and Sunflower waxes which closely mimics the texture found naturally in the sebum of the skin. The texture infused with rich, Lecithin-covered, long-lasting pigments and the uniquely processed mica creates a pore-refining, even and slightly “plumped”, refreshed finish.

Before applying the Foundation Essence SKIN SOUL DROPS, make sure to shake the bottle thoroughly for a few seconds. This will evenly disperse the high percentage of pigments for outstandingly precise results.

I hope you are feeling better now. Last winter in Australia there was an awful flu going round that lasted for months. So I hope you haven’t got something like that.
I don’t know why brands bother to put out a fluid makeup line with only 3 shades…….it is a waste of effort and very frustrating for those whose complexion is outside the shade range. This is a sure fire way to alienate customers.

Unfortunately, I’m still not well. I’m sitting at home and hoping that within a week I’ll get better. It’s so frustrating to be sick for 2 weeks already, couldn’t be able to sleep because of the sickness. 🙁 At least I’m trying to blog whenever I feel a little bit better, so I can take my mind off of this sickness. Thank you 🙂
