Rouge Bunny Rouge Antigo Eye Shadow Palette Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello pretties!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Antigo Eye Shadow Palette is a piece of beauty, one that I’ve been longing for a few months. Straight from the promo photos I loved the pattern and the combination of neutrals but once I saw it in person I absolutely fall instantly in love. With RBR the packaging has always been chic, elegant and with a twist of mystery.

Rouge Bunny Rouge (086) Antigo Eye Shadow Palette (€49.00 for 7 g / 0.25 oz) reunites a combination of four shades of nude and neutrals.

Shades:

  • light, yellow-tinged vanilla beige with neutral undertones and frosty luminous finish.
  • a medium cool taupe with pink undertones and a pearl finish
  • a medium brown taupe with cool undertones and a pearl finish
  • a dark, rich chocolate brown with smooth pearl finish

All the shades are rich, pigmented and deliver a high color payoff. The swatches bellow were taken without any eyeshadow primer so you can see the true intensity of the shades.

The have such a soft, smooth and buttery formula that applies well without any fall out. All the shadows have a non-drying feel and they are easily blendable.

I’ve been using this palette almost everyday now and absolutely love how the shades, despite or their intense pigmentation still keep and sense of transparency. I mean they are not totally opaque and super pigmented (they are not even meant to be like that) but they look just as beautiful, not to mention it’s a pleasure to swatch and apply them with their silky formula. Everytime I’m playing with these shades I get that “melting” sensation which is absolutely amazing, making them perfect to be paired among each other and with other shades as well.

The formula contains Argan Oil which gives the texture this lightweight and silk feel, without any powdery or drying sensation.

They have a great staying power, as they lasted on me for more than 10 hours without any fall out or feeling of dryness.

It’s the kind of palette that can be used for day or night time looks, with colors that will complement any eye color. I absolutely love the packaging as well and the attention to details and like always RBR did an amazing job.
