Melkior Coquette Clasic Lipstick (no.12219) is one of the products I purchased myself last month when the brand cut the prices in half and offered a 50% discount to every product. I took advantage of this offer and I got a couple of makeup and nail products, so in case you missed it, Melkior Hot Pink Lipstick (review, swatches) was one of those.

Melkior Coquette Clasic Lipstick (39.90 Lei for 4.5 g/ 0.16 oz) is a medium raspberry violet with blue undertones and subtle shine. It has a classic formula, not creamy or shiny, just the casual texture.
It glides easily and evenly across the lips, delivering a strong, opaque color coverage in one swipe. I personally love pink, violet lip shades and I do admit that Melkior Coquette is a color that not many will choose to wear on a daily basis, at the office or at their job. I personally love it to death, because it’s so rich, intense and super pigmented, just the color that will concentrate all the attention towards my lips so I can keep my eye makeup to a minimal.
The formula is not very creamy, but moisturizing enough to keep my lips from feeling dry from beginning to end. It doesn’t emphasized lip lines but it makes them look plumed and fresh.
The formula is quite long lasting as even after I ate and drink the color didn’t fade completely. I could still notice a quite intense hue of Coquette on my lips after 4 hours. I have to worn you that it does stain the lips so after 6 hours wear I was left with a tint of color which I personally like.
If you don’t like lip colors that stain then you may want to look away from this color right here, but if you do then go ahead and give it a chance.
