Makeup Geek Sensuous Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz./ 1.8 g) is officially described as shimmery purple with flecks of silver. In my opinion is a medium-dark plum with a brown base, warm undertones, a frost finish and very fine gold shimmer. It’s a beautiful and elegant shade which can be used for any special occasion if you want to create a nice elegant makeup or a plumy smokey eye look.
It’s rich and pigmented, with a good color payoff while the texture is soft, very easy to work with, but slightly dry. It is easily blendable and I had not fall out while I applied the shade. I actually wore MUG Sensuous again yesterday in combination with MAC Tan Pigment (upcoming review) which is a beautiful muted pinky bronze and I have to say they were great together so bellow you can see a photo from this look and later on I shall post the entire tutorial.
It has a good color payoff applied even without an eyeshadow primer but it definitely looked more intense when I used over Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer or when I applied it with a damp brush for a more intense color.
Makeup Geek Sensuous Eyeshadow wore well for about 9 hours without creasing, but after that I noticed the color started to fade away a little bit.
