Lancome Auda (City) in Paris Multi-Pan Eyeshadow Palette – New – $68.00

In the sea of neutral eyeshadow colors, some shades stand out and Lancôme has captured them all. Introducing new Auda(city) in Paris Multi-Pan Eyeshadow Palette, a collection the most beautiful, universally-flattering tones to create an infinite range of stunning eye looks.

Created by famed makeup artist and Lancôme Global Makeup Creative Director Lisa Eldridge, this multi-pan palette comes in a luxurious mirrored case and includes 16 gorgeous shadows, from soft neutrals to deep, smoky shades in both warm and cool tones. Each palette comes with a full size double-ended brush.

Inspired by vignettes of Parisian life — rosé at a café, a museum visit on the Right Bank, or a late-night down the Champs-Élysées — the palette veers from the delicate, champagne end of the color spectrum to richer, more daring tones in a blend of matte and shimmery finishes. Grouped into four shade harmonies, Good Morning Paris, Ride & Promenade, Unexpected Rendez-Vous and Nuit Parisienne, the flattering tones within the palette offer infinite answers to achieving the most chic and elegant desired eye looks.

  • Good Morning Paris – champagne, soft pink, soft lilac, pink sparkling gold
  • Ride & Promenade – a muted pinkish taupe muted lilac-purple, beige, pink and sparkling plum
  • Unexpected Rendez-Vous – dusty purple, indigo purple, silver gray, dark gray
  • Nuit Parisienne – deep plum-brown, brown, dark chocolate, dark blue-gray

Returned this palette! Color flakes and does not deposit, poor pigmentation…sad. REturned it 4 times! Consistent low quality. TOo many dark shades unless you like smoky eye (aka vampire makeup) – who wears smoky eye at work? And before you say it is for special occasions, who goes to a special occasion every day?

I have this palette as well. I posted a video on my Chicprofile Youtube channel. I admit I didn’t have the time to use it just yet, but now your feedback made me even more curious. I will give it a try and post a review once I’ve played with it for a couple of days. The colors look very wearable at a first look so I was thinking it is day appropriate as well, not only for fancy make-up looks. Thanks for posting!
