Illamasqua Vintage Metallix Preview, Photos, Swatches

by Tavia

Hello sweeties!

I know how it will sound when I’m going to say that I’ve been having Illamasqua Vintage Metallix for quite a few months but they got lost somewhere in my makeup drawer and only recently when I was rearranging my makeup I stumble upon them. I kept them exactly as I got them, untouched and in their original packaging, unopened so for the past few days I started playing with them, testing them and even created a couple of new makeup looks that I’ll be posting later in the week.

Illamasqua Vintage Metallix ($26.00/ £17.00 / 112.00 Lei for 5 ml / 0.18 fl oz) is a creamy eyesahdow with a metallic finish and a gel texture. It comes available in three shades: Courtier, Bibelot and Embellish and fortunately I got them all so you can take a look at the swatches bellow.

I can’t believe I haven’t tried these earlier ( I kinda feel remorse) as they apply incredibly easy, they feel comfortable and not to mention they have a long wearing formula as well. I wore each of these shades separately and also as an eyeshadow base so I’ll tell you more about them in the upcoming Illamasqua Vintage Metallix review. They can be applied with a finger and that’s they way I personally prefer it but you can also use an eyeshadow brush if you like.

Illamasqua Courtier Vintage Metallix is a vintage nude, perfect for a day to day natural makeup with a bit of sparkle, while Bibelot Vintage Metallix is described as a vintage green and Embellish Vintage Metallix as a dark brown.

Enjoy more photos…
