Hello beauties!
I’m really happy to share with you some of my favorite products from the limited edition Essence Ice Ice Baby Spring 2014 Collection (info & promo photos) which was released earlier this month. I’m living in a country where Essence brings only 2 limited edition collections per year so you can only image what I must be feeling when I’m posting about all the new launches without the possibility of even seeing the products. This time thanks to Melanie from Meas Marmeladentopf who was so sweet and offered to send me my favorite products from this collection, I’m able to share with you photos and swatches and tell my first impression while later on I will return with individual reviews. Melanie already posted a preview on her blog so if you want to check out more photos and swatches of the Essence Ice Ice Baby Collection please take a look at her article right HERE.
Availability
International Launch Date – early January until end February 2014 exclusive to the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Kuwait, Palestine, Bolivia, and Chile.
Essence Ice Ice Baby Eyeshadow (€1.99 for 0.08 oz/ 2.5 g) in #01 Do The Rittberger is a beautiful light purple with a frosty finish and has an amazing buttery texture that’s so easy to apply and blend. The snowflakes pattern is absolutely adorable and I don’t know if I’ll have the heart to hit the pan on this product.
Essence Ice Ice Baby Lip Balm (€1.29 for 0.14 oz/ 4 g) in #01 Black Flip a beautiful light rosy shade with a natural sheen but look sheer once swatched and applied on the lips. I will wear this shade a couple of time before posting my review.
Essence Ice Ice Baby Eye Pencil (€1.99 for 0.04 oz/ 1.16 g) in #03 Ice Skates On! is a light teal shade leaning more towards the green side, with a high metallic effect. It has an incredibly creamy consistency and it glides easily on the lid showing a intense color. I’m wearing this shade right now for about an hour (without a primer) and I’m noticing how it begins to fade. I will test Ice Skates On! with an eyeshadow primer as well and post my review pretty soon.
