Hello beauties!
Deborah Milano has released for spring 2016 new variations of Smokey Eye Palettes that I told you about earlier. Today is Deborah Milano Soft Smokey Eyeshadow Palette to be reviewed since last week I showed you Deborah Violet Smokey Eye Palette (review, photos, swatches).
Where to buy:
Romania – Now at Kendra, Debenhams and Carrefour.
Deborah Milano Smokey Eye Palette No.04 Soft Smokey (53.00 Lei for 5 g) is a combination of five beige, brown and black eyeshadows in different finishes. Deborah describes its eyeshadows as being very pigmented, so even though I’m not denying they do have a decent color payoff, I could hardly describe them as intense, rich and pigmented.
Swatches bellow were taken on bare skin so no eyeshadow primer or base was used prior the application. The palette offers a nice combination of colors from light beige to dark brown and black, basically the classic shades that you need for a day nude eye makeup or a more sophisticated smokey eye.
They apply well, without any fall out, adhere well onto the skin but I would definitely used them over a cream shadow or a primer to make the colors look more vibrant and intense.
The shadows have a smooth, silky and soft formula, quite buttery I might say for the lightest shade and they do blend easily. You have a fine mixture of textures from matte to shimmer and metallic so you can easily combine them for a day or night time appropriate look.
The packaging is not the most attractive one in my opinion, even though the palette comes in an unique shape with a transparent lid that snaps shut and also allows you to see the colors. It also has a mini duo-sponge applicator that I actually never used but may come in handy if you are on the go and you need a quick retouch.
