Turquoise and Gold Makeup Look

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

Even though I feel is not my style, from time to time I like to play with bright eyeshadow and create a colorful makeup look in aquatic shades. This time I wanted to do something very bright, almost summer appropriate rather than the soft pastels and nudes we tend to wear in spring. I’ve always kept away from shades like yellow, green, blue and orange but every now and then I like to dip my makeup brushes in the waters of intense. So, I came up with this fun, playful and bright look and even though my eye makeup was quite intense I was not shy from wearing a bold lip as well.

You know me, the kind of girl who can never have to many pink, fuchsia or bright lip glosses in her collection. For this makeup even though I should have chosen a more natural lip shade I decided to try a bold pink with blue undertones. All the eyeshadow used to create this look were from MUA Poptastic Eyeshadow Palette (review, swatches, photos).

I would have to say sorry, as I wore this look a couple of weeks ago and I don’t remember what products I used for the rest of my face. I usually write down all the products for each makeup look but this time the details got lost somewhere. I still hope you’ll enjoy the color combination.

Have fun!

Hi Ashley! I’m happy that you love this look as it is something that I don’t usually wear and I didn’t know if to post it or not. I’ve been back for more than a month now and it feels great. 🙂
