Preview: La Mer – Moisturizing Cream

by Tavia

Do you believe in miracles?

If miracles are defined as unique events that appear inexplicable by the laws of nature, then surely Creme de la Mer is a miracle. I’ve been using this cream for more than a month now and it truly changed the way I see myself.

Creme de la Mer was conceived under extraordinary circumstances after physicist Dr. Max Huber suffered severe chemical burns, years ago, while performing a routine experiment. 12 years and some 6.000 experiments later he perfected the Creme that would help give skin a dramatically smoother appearance.

The formula

At the heart of the Creme is a highly potent Miracle Broth. There is nothing miraculous about its ingredients – sea kelp, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, lecithin, Vitamins C, E and B 12, plus oils of citrus, eucalyptus, wheat germ, alfalfa and sunflower. The way these ingredients were distilled made the difference between a good moisturizer and a small miracle. Huber discovered that an amazing thing transpired as these ingredients journeyed from individual components into a nutrient-rich Miracle Broth – a process that took 3-4 months to complete.

After I’ve been using this cream for weeks now I’ve noticed that my skin became softer, smoother and more supple. It’s really a very special and different cream from what I’ve used before.

How to use it

To activate the broth and release its key ingredients you must warm a small amount between your fingertips. As I pat onto clean, dry skin, I instantly felt its soothing effects. I applied this cream even under the fragile eye area and neck. I applyed it day and night.

I will return with a full review on this cream and more photos. Meanwhile you can check out those amazing La Mer Holiday Miracles.

The Creme de a Mer is available at select Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and select specialty stores. Also available at www.lamer.com.
