MustaeV Burn Eyeshadow – Review, Swatches, Photos

by Tavia

Hello cuties!

MustaeV Burn is one of many MustaeV eyeshadows (photos, swatches) that I’ve been testing and using in  my makeup looks for the past few months. I love rich and pigmented colors with semi creamy, smooth or buttery-like textures and this brand really has some great quality products when it comes to eyeshadows and not only.

MustaeV Burn Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 1.8 g) is officially described as satin pearl bronze with red tones. It’s a medium plumy brown bronze with red undertones and gold shimmer. The color is deep, rich and intense while the finish is something in between metallic and satin. As you will see in the photos bellow Burn has great color payoff being extremely pigmented even when it’s swatched and applied without an eyeshadow primer. There’s actually no difference between  how the color looks applied with or without a primer.

It has an incredibly smooth, buttery like formula that provides a velvety smooth application, without any fallout or creasing. It glides easily and evenly across the lid being easily blendable and buildable working well paired with other eyeshadows of different textures as well. The texture is very silky feeling soft and smooth to the touch while the color really pops and looks intense also due to its satin pearl particles.

Burn eyeshadow can be used in the crease or on the lid to create sophisticated, intense and smoky eye looks. It’s an elegant shade and bellow I posted a photo where I used Burn in the crease and on the lower lid.

I used this shade in different looks and it’s long lasting as it didn’t fade or crease even after 10 hours wear. It can used on oily lids as well as its sebum control powder absorbs sebum and assists with maintaining a hydrating, non-drying feel.

If you haven’t tried MustaeV eyeshadows yet I truly recommend them, my favorite are those with a pearl finish like Burn eyeshadow but I tested and own at least two shades from their matte and glitter collection as well.

The packaging as I said before is very similar to MAC eyeshadows as each MustaeV single eyeshadow comes packaged in a small square black cardboard box while the actual product lays in a black rounded case with a transparent lid that snaps shut. It’s very easy to open and work with and the packaging looks more sleek and elegant than MAC’s.
