Max Factor Summer 2014 Makeup Collection Swatches, Photos, Preview

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

Last week I gave you a first look at the new Max Factor Summer 2014 Makeup Products (info, photos) that will be hitting the counters in a few days. Throughout the last weeks Max Factor kept on launching quite a few new makeup items and here I’m talking about the Facefinity All Day Primer SPF 20 (info, photos) and the new CC Sticks. In the last few days I’ve been testing some of these new summery makeup releases but before I’ll return with individual reviews I want to give you a closer look at this collection along with swatches and more photos.

Availability

International Launch Date – September 2014 (Skin Luminizer Foundation, Eye Luminizer, Gel Shine Lacquer)

UK Launch Date – September 2014

Romania Launch Date – beginning July 2014 (Skin Luminizer Foundation, Eye Luminizer, Gel Shine Lacquer)

The new Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation (52.00 Lei for 30 ml) will be available in 5 shades so the palette of colors is not very wide here but there are shades ranging from very light to dark. My shade is No. 50 Natural, a light beige nude with rosy undertones that applies smoothly and leaves a beautiful soft matte effect. Actually I wore this foundation two times already and so far I like it a lot. I will post a couple of makeup looks in the future so you can see how it looks like and I will also return with a full review after I’ll be testing and wearing it some more.

In combination with this new foundation I also used Facefinity All Day Primer SPF 20, and I have to say this is a product that I’ve been eager to test since February when I first posted about it, because I read so many positive reviews. Two year ago Max Factor launched Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation and even though it delivered a matte finish I can’t say my complexion find it a perfect match for me so I was really hoping that the new face primer will work better for me.

There have been also launched six  CC Sticks (53.00 L ei) to correct redness, under eye circles, banish dullness, erase dark spots and illuminate the face. I got two of these new Max Factor CC Sticks, one in green that corrects redness and the other one in yellow to neutralize purple tones such as under-eye circles. So far I haven’t got the chance to use them but I will do it this week and return with more details later on.

For those nail fanatics Max Factor launches 9 new bright and vibrant Gel Nail Lacquers (28.00 Lei for 11  ml) and the ones that I got are No.30 Twinkling Pink, No.35 Lacquered Violet and No.45 Gleaming Teal. First I will go with the purple shade so expect my review by the end of the week while the other shades will soon follow.

Love the pink and green nail polishes. Can’t wait to hear how that green stick performs.

I have been using the liquid foundation for awhile now and it is fabulous. I use the lightest shade and I think the formula works really well. Especially for those who have pinkish undertones. Great foundation.
