I first heard and posted about MAC Vamplify Collection (official photos, info) in the early days of summer and since I saw the collection on the counters a few months later I knew these colors will be perfect for my lips. I have to admit that MAC Vamplify How Chic Is This lip gloss got my attention not only because of the intense purple color but also because of the name as you can notice, it’s somehow matching my blog’s name so I knew I had to have it. Pink lip colors are still my thing but purple is my second favorite color and actually a perfect one for fall and winter. MAC Vamplify lip gloss is infused with colour-boosting technology that’s loaded with pigments. MAC Vamplify How Chic Is This Lip Gloss ($20.00 / 97.00 Lei for 5 ml/ .16 oz) is officially described as a violet-purple. It’s a medium-dark blue based violet-purple with a super glossy finish.
Right from the beginning I was sold to this intense, rich and pigmented color that looks amazing on my lips. In just one swipe I get a rich, vibrant and fully opaque color coverage with an intense shine that makes my lips appear rich and fuller. What I always loved about a gloss was an intense shine and a seductive color so MAC Vamplify How Chic Is This has them both, not to mention this color always attracts attention on me.

Since I purchased this lip gloss I’ve been wearing it like crazy at least 3 times a week, and I love that I can keep my eye makeup as simple and natural as possible just because this rich purple does all the work and adds that pop of color on my lips. This is definitely a lip shade for those who are not color shy and want to dip their lips in the color of intense.

It comes in a transparent sleek and long plastic tube with a doe-footed applicator. The formula is loaded with high-powered pigments, it’s medium-creamy and glides easily and evenly across the lips without sinking into lip lines.

The formula contains lush natural oils like coconut, sweet almond, avocado and sesame. It feels amazing only lips, so lightweight, creamy and moisturizing. It gives lips that gorgeous wet effect and they seem so plumped due to its intense glossy finish.

The glossy color wears for hours on end and I was so pleasantly surprised to see that even after 7 hours (with eating and drinking) it was still there on my lips. It leaves a bit of a stain when the color disappears but that’s totally fine by me. It doesn’t feel sticky or tacky at all so I can wear this lip gloss even when it’s windy outside as it will not stick to my hair like MAC Dazzleglass does. It has a non-bleeding, non-feathering formula so it stays in place from beginning to end.

After one week of purchasing this color I returned to MAC counter and I was sad to notice that some of the pink shades I was planning on choosing the first time were sold out so if I knew MAC Vamplify lip gloss has such a long-wearing formula and performs so well on the lips I would have definitely purchased more than one shade.
