MAC Pink Sprinkles Powder Blush is a new limited edition shade that will be released next week as part of MAC The Simpsons Collection (photos, swatches). It comes as a round compact powder blush in a funny black packaging with the image of Marge Simpson on the case. I want to mention that this particular edition of Powder Blush is a bit larger than the others and it has the size of a regular MAC Mineralize Skinfinish or Beauty Powder so if you really like this shade you will get a larger amount of product that usual.

MAC Pink Sprinkles Blush ($24.00/ 114.00 Lei for 0.33 oz.) is officially described as cute blue pink with satin finish. I see it like a light washed out cool pink with blue undertones while the finish is a subtle matte rather than satin.
When I swatched it the powder was feeling soft but a little bit powdery, not as smooth as I would like to but still pretty fine. The consistency is thinner and seems somehow slightly dry while it provides a sheer pink color coverage. As a light skin tone I’m happy with this shade as it looks natural, adding just a bit of flush to my cheeks but on those with medium skin tones it may look washed out while for those with darker and olive skins it will look way to light.
Once I applied the blush on my cheeks it didn’t look powdery while the color it was a sweet pink. If you want more intensity you can try to build it up a few layers but it won’t look as pigmented as it is in the pan. It was easily blendable and it lasted on me throughout the day showing signs of fading towards the evening.
It’s a nice powder blush to have and collect due to its fun limited edition packaging and the Marge pattern but I would recommended more to those with fair and light skin tones who are not looking for an intense shade on the cheeks.
