Fall 2016 seems to be the season when many brands have decided to renew the lipstick line. This time I get to tell about the new Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick line which after 25 years reinvents itself and presents its new shades in a luxurious, ultra-desirable tube, a tribute to the jewel cases create by Lancome founder, Armand Petitjean.
U.S. Launch Date – September 2016 at Lancome counters and online @lancome-usa.com

Lancome New L’Absolu Rouge Lipsticks – New & Permanent – $32.00 / 155.00 Lei
L’Absolu Rouge unveils itself in an exquisite new design. The sleek black lacquer case displays the signature Lancome rose as a gold domed seal on the cap – with just one simple push of the rose, the lipstick is revealed, making vibrant color just a click away.
Women everywhere can now find their perfect shade with the rebirth of the iconic Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge. Designed and created by renowned makeup artist and Lancôme Global Makeup Creative Director, Lisa Eldridge, the range includes a palette of 44 luxurious colors. With a curated collection of sumptuous pinks, reds, corals, plums and beiges, there is a mix of vivid brights and subtle neutrals for any and every occasion. The stunning shades range from sheer, to cream and matte textures, offering endless possibilities for any lip look.
Enriched with Pro-XylaneTM, the award-winning and deeply moisturizing molecule found in Lancôme’s best-selling Absolue skincare range, the new formula also incorporates a liquid-light technology. This exclusive micro-particle complex works to reveal the most luminous and vibrant color. Together, the innovative, cutting-edge technology pampers lips and imparts beautiful, ultra-rich color.
It’s rare to find a lipstick as serious as your skincare. L’Absolu Rouge with Pro-XylaneTM, a Lancôme patented molecule, deeply replenishes and moisturizes lips, while conditioning and comforting agents soften lips for up to 8 hours. Additionally, lips are protected with the antioxidant Vitamin E to safeguard against environmental damage.
There are bloggers out there who already receive samples of Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Lipsticks and so I was able to see the swatches and check the reviews. It appears the three finishes vary from sheer to matte and cream so we have what to choose from. I’ll definitely be back with more info and photos very soon but as a pink lover I have my eye on O Oui and Pourquoi Pas? shades but if you love a classic red then you may wanna check out Caprice or Jezebel for a dark wine color.
