After testing and playing with all the shades from Guerlain Ecrin 1 Couleur Collection (review, swatches, photos) for the past few weeks I’m ready to give you my opinion about each one of them. Guerlain No.07 Khaki Mono Ecrin 1 Couleur is actually one of the two powder eyeshadow from this collection which has a satin finish and it’s truly a wonderful deep pigmented color.

Guerlain Khaki Mono Ecrin 1 Couleur (165.00 Lei / $34.00 / £21.15 for 2 g) is a dark greenish-yellow-brown with warm undertones, gold shimmer and a satin finish. It leans more towards the green side but the golden sparkle really gives this shade a nice touch. It has a rich color payoff, as it’s truly pigmented and intense.It has a nice smooth and silky formula, which adheres well onto the lid, being easily blendable and easily to work with. It feels very smooth and creamy to the touch and it applies without any fall out. Take a look at the photos bellow and see how Guerlain Khaki Mono looks over Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer and also applied without an eyeshadow base and you can see its true color payoff. The only difference in my opinion is that once you’ll apply it over an eyeshadow base you will get more of that rich satin finish and glow.

A truly intense and pigmented shade, Guerlain Khaki Mono powder eyeshadow wore well on me for more than 8 hours without creasing, before starting to fade.
