Foggy Nights Makeup Look

by Tavia

Hello sweeties!

Today was such a rainy day here and I thought of a smokey blue makeup look, something resembling a foggy night, with shades that blend into each other. Combining different blue shades this look can be worn in the evening but also for a night out in the city. It looks great on those with green eyes like mine but it would definitely look even better on those with dark or brown eyes.

I’m currently testing some of the products that I used to create this look so expect my reviews in the next few days. I also used a MAC pigment in a dark grey blue shade but I don’t know its name since I got it a long time ago as a sample. Take a look after the jump to see what products I’ve used to create the Foggy Nights Makeup Look.

  • MAC Lingering Eye Brows

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer
  • Jordana Creamy Vanilla Eyeshadow Powder – on the inner corner of the lid and blended on the brow bone
  • MAC Pigment in Dark Grey Blue – in the outer corner of the eye
  • Essence Eyes Skates On! Eye Pencil – Review, Swatches, Photos
  • Urban Decay Gunmetal Eyeshadow (Naked Palette) – applied and blended over the MAC pigmented
  • Urban Decay Buck Eyeshadow (Naked Palette) – blended lightly in the crease
  • Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eyeshadow Palette (Blue Eyeshadow) – applied in the middle of the lid
  • MAC Plush Lash Mascara

Hi Julie! I’m really happy that you enjoyed the look, I tried to do my best especially since I’m not very good when it comes to blue eyeshadows. I’m no MUA but I like to share my makeup looks with the rest of us. 🙂
