Fall 2010 Makeup inspired by L.A. Colors Wildflowers Eyeshadow Palette

by Tavia

Hi everyone!

In my previous post I reviewed L.A. Colors Wildflowers Eyeshadow Palette and now I’m going to show you what I’ve came up with using the colors from this palette.

As I previously said, I’m new to this brand so if any of you tried L.A. Colors products before and would want to share your thoughts with us I would really appreciated it. 🙂

You know I’m a fan of pink and purple shades so makeup looks like this one are really my favorite. 🙂 If you like this look and you want to see more photos and find out what other products I’ve used, follow me after the jump.

FACE

CHEEKS

  • L’Oreal Blush Delicieux – 01 Pink Marshmallow

EYES

  • Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance Primer
  • L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow Palette – EP 42 Wildflowers
  • Sephora Eye Pencil – 01 Noir Artist
  • Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara – Review
  • LÓreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

LIPS

  • MAC Dazzleglass – Extra Amps

I was actually in a hurry yesterday, I had only 10 minutes for this makeup so I know my top eyelashes are not covered 100% :). This lipstick is actually my favorite (review soon) since it looks great all by itself and gives a nice luster and shimmer once I’ve applied it on top of any lipstick. The only thing I don’t really like is the fact that is a little bit sticky. 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this look! I would love to hear your thoughts. 🙂

I am not really a fan of these type of colours on me. But on you they look really great. The look you created is very pretty. (And I’m not trying to win the top commentators prize :)!)

Hi! 🙂 Thank you for liking my look. Sometimes it’s good to use different shades then the ones you are use to. It might change your look in a good way, and make you feel different. Off topic:It’s a decent comment, I wouldn’t thought otherwise. I was just advising the girls that comment on every post leaving irrelevant comments. 🙂 Good Luck on the Giveaway. 🙂

Hi Adina! I’m glad that you like the palette. The darkest shade is actually my favorite one from the entire palette. 🙂

I like how you put the eyeliner on the last third of your lid, very nice look 🙂

Reply
Tavia November 3, 2010 - 7:04 pm

Hi Sherri! If I apply the eyeliner all along my lash line my eyes will look smaller and is not in my advantage. 🙂 I like to apply it on the third corner because it also makes the lashes look thicker. 🙂

Wow, I love that eyeshadow. Pinks are one of my favourites for eyes. I’ll have to try doing a look like this.

I was thinking about that…but I’m not that great in explaining this. 🙂 The blending is the key of this makeup.

Thanks Mary! But who says I wear makeup everyday? 🙂 Actually I don’t wear makeup lately (my skin is in vacation) so I do these makeup looks specially for the blog. 🙂
