Dolce & Gabbana creates a lipstick for her and for her lips. This is the new Dolce & Gabbana Sophia Loren No.1, a tribute to one of the most beautiful women and a beauty icon. I definitely have to have this shade as I’m madly in love with D&G lipstick formula, so creamy and smooth, gliding easily across the lip delivering an intense color.

I’m not a lipstick girl, I’m really not, because it’s so hard for a lipstick to convince me to wear it….the formula has to be just right, creamy, rich, hydrating and color must be so pigmented but at the same not over the edges as a light skin tone like me cannot really make any color work. I’m madly in love with D&G Ballerina Lipstick (review, swatches) so when I saw a swatch of D&G Sophia Loren Lipstick on BritishBeautyBlogger I knew I have to get this. Officially described as a cherry red, I see it more like a nude pink that is the kind of shade I would wear on a daily basis, throughout the day for a nude stylish and elegant makeup look.
Hopefully it will still be available in London at the beginning of November when I’m hoping to go there for a short visit.
