Coolcos Moisturizing Lipsticks – Preview, Swatches & Photos

Hello beauties!

Today I want to talk to you about Coolcos Moisturizing Lipsticks, as a choose a small selection of colors to test and review and I want to share with you my first impression, swatches and photos before I will post individual reviews. Coolcos is a new entry on my blog and quite a new cosmetic brand as well, being born in 2012 and recently brought to Romania as well. I will be talking about Coolcos products quite frequently in the future as I’m planning on testing as many products as I can and share my thoughts with you. Coolcos offers a large variations of lipstick shades with different formulas such as moisturizing, matte, creamy, shiny and glossy but in my country only the Moisturizing range is currently available. Because Coolcos has recently became available here it will start to introduce the products gradually in the upcoming months.

Coolcos Moisturizing Lipsticks (27.18 Lei/ 49.00 DKK/ $8.00 for 3.5 g/ 0.1 oz) come in a variety of 41 shades to choose from. I believe there’s a shade for everyone from nudes and naturals to light and bright pinks or corals, reds and browns.

Unlike the Coolcos Super Lip Glosses (preview & swatches) each lipstick has its own number and shade name so it will be easier to remember and to refer to them. My first impression obviously goes to the packaging and I will not sugarcoated at all but for me it was love at first sight. The lip cases are black and softly rubberized so they are easy to hold and use and they will hardly slip or slide from your hands. They have a silver rim in the middle and Coolcos simply written on the lip case. They can be stored in two different and ideally ways and that’s another thing I like about the packaging. The lip case is transparent on the top so it’s easily to see each shade and store like this making it so easy to find the shade you need when you it’s stored in your drawer, makeup table or any small box or tray that you might be using it. If you don’t like this idea then you can store the lipsticks putting them up side down because on the bottom they have a promo swatch and the shade number. Right now I prefer the first option but it’s so great to know I have a second option as well and a great one too.

I’ve chosen 5 Moisturizing Lipstick shades and they all applied easily and smoothly once swatched, most of them revealing a high color payoff. I’m in love with pinks, but that’s not a secret anymore so beside the pink shades I also wanted to try a nude and a coraly shade. I’ve already tested 4 of them and my reviews will follow in the upcoming days so I will tell you more about them in separate reviews because even though they are all part of the Moisturizing family they don’t all behave the same.

They are not scented in any way and some of them reveal a natural sheen while applied on the lips, while others have a soft matte effect and none of them have shimmer. They all feel lightweight and comfortable on the lips.
