You know me, forever addicted to lip glosses and if the color “happens” to be pink then I must try it on. Today I’m gonna review Max Effect Lip Gloss in Pink Romantic which is one of the glosses included in Max Factor Colour Effect Collection for Summer 2010. It’s a really fun collection with bright and vibrant shades of glosses, eyeshadows and nail polishes so if you are into bright and fun makeup for this summer you should check it out.

I’ve been using Max Effect Lip Gloss in Pink Romantic for a few months now and it’s among my favorite colors. I don’t say it’s the perfect lip gloss but I will tell you later why.

Pink Romantic is a beautiful pale pink shade with lots and lots of tiny shiny particles that really makes my lips look like a shining mirror and gives my that glossy effect.

The set is a good value, has lots of colors to offer and if you a lip gloss addict I’m sure you will be sold by this one. Most of the colors are sheer on the lips and don’t deliver the same color that you see in the tube, but they all have a non sticky texture and leaves your lips moisturized. Some of the colors, like Naked lip gloss offer only extra shine and they should be better used on top of a lipstick if you want to have some color on your lips. Today I’m gonna review Pure lip gloss which is actually a juicy melon shade, very shiny a lot more pigmented than the other glosses from this collection. You can actually get that watermelon color on your lips. Is not actually my favorite color from the entire collection because it contains also red tones so you can see is more like a reddish pink shade, which can be great for those of you looking for new red lip glosses in summer colors.

It looks more pigmented in the tube than it does on the lips but at least is still brings out some color to your lips comparing to some of the shades included in the same collection that are very sheer.

Dior Beauty Exclusives for Summer 2010 @Nordstrom

While I was browsing the Nordstrom website yesterday I’ve came upon some some gorgeous makeup products from Dior.

Ready-to-Wear Palette and Addict Ultra Gloss will be available exclusively @Norstrom. I like the four eyeshadow colors included in the palette because they look like something I would use for an everyday look, but the rest of the palette doesn’t impress me since I’m not using blushes or bronzers and I don’t like lip glosses that come in a palette.

Anyway all the colors from the palette come together pretty nicely so just take a look and let me know what do you think about it. Would you buy it?

It’s about time I should get back to my reviews and since I have a lot of lip products to review I thought I should finish reviewing those from Naked Beauty 2010 Lip Gloss Collection which is part of the Naked Beauty makeup collection for summer 2010.

Today I’m gonna review Nude Lip Gloss which is a creamy nude shade, more like a coral nude brown with a natural shine. As I said before if you like natural colors on your lips then you should go for this collection because you will find some pretty nice shades and they will look great especially if you choose to have a smoky eye makeup where natural lips are a must, but then again if you are looking fore pigmented, bright colors this collection is not for you.
