Last week I showed you some of my new Senna Makeup Products (preview post + swatches) and today I want to give you more details about the three shades of Senna Sheer Face Color Powder Blush I’ve been using lately.
I have the shades Tres Jolie, Clarity & Enlighten which are available now @sennacosmetics.com for the price of $18.50. Each blush comes in a semitransparent case containing 0.12 oz/ 3.4 g of product.
All these shades apply smooth, easy due to their velvety texture. They don’t feel powdery at all and they can be used by both of pale or medium to dark skintones.
Tres Jolie is described as a clear glowing pink, a very natural soft pink in my opinion just perfect if you want to achieve a healthy glowing pink on your cheeks but natural in the same way. If you want to achieve a more pigmented shade you can easily buildup the color but for me which I have a fair skin I was happy with just a touch of color. The color is long lasting, actually I even test it again yesterday and it lasted up beautiful to five hours and would have probably lasted a few more but I had to remove my makeup. Tres Jolie has a slight glowing finish so you can skip the highlighting part if you want too.
Clarity is a clear coral matte, very pigmented and more suitable for medium to darker skin tones. If you have a fair skintone you might want to be very careful not adding to much shade. It has the same velvety smooth texture and delivers a matte finish. It can be well paired with Enlighten as a highlighter.
Enlighten is a beautiful ivory champagne color which I’ve been using mostly as highlighter for cheeks or under my brown. It has a beautiful translucency and a natural finish and works great on every skintone. You can choose to apply it in the inner corner of your eye to brighten up the makeup and make you eyes look bigger. Enlighten works wonderful accompanied by matte blushes.
