Senna Lip Products for Summer 2010 – Preview, Photos, Swatches

by Tavia

Hey girls!

I finally got back home a few days ago after 2 months of wandering trough the world and I had lots of new products that were waiting for me on my desk. I really don’t know when I will find the time to review everything I’ve got. 🙂

So I will do a short preview with all the products I’ve got from Senna Cosmetics and I will review each product later.

I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Senna products but I discovered this brand a few months ago and I really love their Earth Angel Collection for Spring – Summer 2010.

I’m really addicted to lip glosses so here are the lip products I’ve got. Let me know which color you like, or if you heard or tried Senna products before. I really want to know how you see this brand, since is the first time I get to try their products. 🙂

Follow me after the jump so you can see swatches, more photos and product details.

What I’ve first noticed about these lip lacquers is that they smell divine, especially Ginger that has a sweet hot chocolate smell. 🙂

For now I just swatched the products but I didn’t had time to do lip swatches (hopefully soon, I will) and I actually love the colors even though only one is closer to a true pink. The 2 in 1 Lip lacquer and Lipstick looks really interesting and I would probably review this first in the next couple of days because has such a nice summery color with golden reflexes and should look interesting on the lips.

Here are just a few info about each product. Please do let me know which one you like. 🙂

Lip Laquer – $19.00

Super delicious vanilla flavor, amazing lasting power, and full-textured but never sticky formula in the richest colors this side of the rainbow makes this the lip lacquer of choice for any serious lip gloss lover. The icing on the cake is that it conditions lips with Vitamin E and Jojoba. Worn by ‘A’ list celebrities, you may get hooked!

Senna Lip Laquers

Each lip lacquer contains 10 ml (0.34 oz) of product.

Starting from up: Rosebud, Ginger, Kissy

Rosebud, Ginger and Kissy under the sun light. They look like different colors now, especially Rosebud and Ginger which have multiple shimmery particles. Kissy looks more natural and it’s a sheer pink color.

Lip Liner – $17.00

Give your lips long lasting definition and add staying power and fullness to lip colors by lining and filling lips in with Lip Liner. A truly superb texture gives the right balance of softness for easy application and firmness for precise definition and bleed / smudge resistance. Mineral-oil free formula.

I’ve got the Lip Liner in Shy which is a pretty peach nude color but very pigmented and smooth.

Lip Sync – $24.00

A true lip-loving dream team. Long-lasting, delicious biscotti flavored and moisturizing lipstick and a complementary lip gloss in one elegant package. You’ll be plumping your pout too with collagen stimulating Maxi-Lip. It’s not only that you have three different looks to play with, you’re going to save so much grief not having to dig for that lipgloss! Paraben-free.

You know I don’t like lipsticks that much but the color of this lip gloss makes me wanna try this interesting combination. I’ve got the Lip Sync in Stunning with the lipstick in glowing earthy coral and Gloss in sparkling gold. They sure do make a nice pair. 🙂

Senna Lip Sync in Stunning – 2 in 1 lip product (lip gloss + lipstick)

2 in 1 products are very practical if you like both the lipstick and lip gloss colors. 🙂

Rosebud looks nice, but everything seems to be on the sheer side, I prefer more pigmented products.

Rosebud looks lovely. I love Senna glosses. They are a bit sticky, but that’s what makes them very longlasting, so I don’t mind. Can’t wait to read your reviews.

The Ginger Lip Lacquer is super pretty, it looks like it would be nice for layering over different colored lipsticks. I’ve heard good things about Senna’s lip products, can’t wait to read your reviews

I’ve tried their lip gloss and really didn’t like the formula. REALLY sticky and glitter is gritty! hate that feeling on my lips 🙁

Look how pretty. I love the difference in the sunlight and regular light pictures.

If you get a chance to try Senna’s brow products or the eyeshadows, jump on it. Fabulous stuff.

I’ve heard great things about Senna too. I first heard about it from a makeup artists actually. She loves vivid color that is natural and that is certainly what Senna delivers.
