I told you I will being to talk to you more about MUA makeup products so here I am reviewing MUA Pink Sugar Out There Plumping Lip Gloss, a shade which I’ve ordered online months ago but I got to use it only recently. You know I’m a lover of pink and lip glosses in general so I can never have too many cute pink shades in my collection. I ordered two shades of Out There Plumping Lip Gloss and the other one is called Peach Shimmer which I will be reviewing it shortly.
First of all I like the price of these glosses, only £2.00 which is very cheap considering they are not just simple lip glosses but with plumping effect as well. Pink Sugar comes in a long transparent plastic tube and has a doe footed applicator which I notice it picks up too much product on the want but not enough on the applicator itself so I need to dip it in 2 or 3 times to have a nice pigmented color on my lips. The packaging and the applicator are very similar to the Kardashian Beauty Lip Gloss (review) only that MUA lip glosses are sealed with a plastic foil which is a sign of trust and confidence that no one has used the product before.

MUA Pink Sugar Out There Plumping Lip Gloss (£2.00) is a bright vivid pink with frost finish and tiny silver shimmer. I would expect a more glossy finish from this lip gloss but it delivers a good color payoff and a beautiful but not very intense sheen. The formula is not sticky or tacky and it doesn’t emphasizes dryness or settles into lip lines. The color is suitable for all those with fair, light and medium skin tones.
I read a few reviews before purchasing these shades and some say is fragrance free while others claim to have a fresh smell which I totally don’t agree with. I feel the smell is so strong when you open up the tube, something that I can’t really describe it but for me personally is not pleasant at all, fortunately it’s not that persistent and strong when I apply the lip gloss on my lips. I find the applicator a bit too long for my liking because it doesn’t offer a precise application, I always have the feeling that it may broke at any second.
Because it’s a pluming lip gloss I suppose to notice the plumping effect after a couple of minutes, instead I felt right from the first swipe like a burning stinging sensation on my lips, not comfortable at all. When I first tried it this sensation lasted for about 10 minutes and after that it was diminished into a tingling sensation but I didn’t noticed any visible plumping in my lips. They tend to look a bit fuller due to the sheen that this gloss provides but I would say it has a visible plumping effect. I still used it another 2 times to see if that burning uncomfortable sensation persists and yes it does. Perhaps my lips are too sensitive but I really don’t feel comfortable applying this gloss as pretty as the color might be knowing that my lips will sting for 10 minutes or so.
