Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 in #60 Medium – Preview, Swatches & First Impression

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

I was super excited when I found out about Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 (official info & photos) that was released last month in UK and it will be available in Romania starting June 2013, because I was trying to find a product that could replace my Max Factor Second Skin Foundation (review & photos) which was discontinued.

I received the Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 in the shade #60 Medium and today I worn it for the first time. The CC cream comes in a 30 ml black tube and retails for 60.00 Lei/ £ 7.99. It’s available in 4 shades: #40 Fair, #50 Natural, #60 Medium, #75 Tanned.

Now I will tell you my first impression about this product, since I start testing it today and I’ve been wearing it for almost 7 hours and in a few days I will return with a full review as I still want to wear it a couple of times. Find out what’s my first impression about the new CC Cream right after the jump.

It has a lightweight formula and it feels incredibly soft and lightweight on the skin as I hardly felt that I’m wearing it. It provides a light, natural coverage and has a flawless finish. I have a light skin tone and I usually prefer foundations with a light to medium coverage as I don’t need to use something with full coverage since I don’t have any imperfections that needs correcting. Once I start applying Max Factor CC Cream I noticed that I didn’t have to struggle to blend the product as the formula was gliding so easily onto the skin leaving a smooth and bright complexion. I had to squeeze the tube couple of times to get enough product on my face before I start blending so if I’ll be using this colour correcting cream everyday I don’t think it will last that long.  So far for me this product works just wonderful but if you are looking for more coverage you dab extra cream where is necessary or apply your foundation on top of it.

The only downsize I can find at this point is that only 4 colors are available and since I have a light skin and I’m using the Medium shade I don’t think those of you with darker skin tone will be able to use this color. The latest shade #75 Tanned it might work for some of you with medium skin color while for other it may be to light.

Until my full review will be up I would love to know if you already tried this product and how do you feel about a light natural coverage this summer.
