Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts Review, Swatches, Photos

by Tavia

Hello sweeties!

I got Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts for almost six months now and I’ve been using it from time to time totally forgetting that I didn’t review this puppy yet. Obviously a pretty packaging and the pink combination of colors is what made me buy this gorgeous heart shaped blusher in the first place, but as a blogger I had to quench my curiosity thirst of knowing if this is indeed a great dupe for the famous Too Faced’s Sweethearts blush ($30.00).

Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts (£4.99 for 10 g) is a triple baked blush which comes in this super cute 3D heart shape. It offers a combination of three pink shades with a shimmery finish. I rarely choose blushes with a shimmer finish, just because I’m a combination skin type and I prefer something more matte that it would not emphasize my pores, so when I do go on the shimmery side I like to use the product very lightly.Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart blush delivers quite a nice pigmentation, a medium color coverage which can be build up to a more intense color or applied with a light hand for a washed pink hue.

I personally tried to use the colors separately sometimes but the easiest way is to swirl your brush into the pan and combine the shades together for a nice rosy flush of color. The shimmer finish is quite subtle, nothing that would look like chunky bits of glitter so it’s wearable for light to medium and darker skin tones as well, regardless their skin type I would say. It can go on as a pink highlighter if you want, to gently tap it on the to top of your cheekbones and I believe those with darker skin tones would get the best of it in this situation.

The packaging is fine, not a high quality I would say (doh, I’m reviewing a drugstore product there) as it comes in this super cute, cardboard heart-shape box, but if you are thinking of Too Faced Sweetheart blushes then yeah, those deliver a bit more quality (that goes along with the price as well).
