Clinique #18 Juiced Up A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin – Review, Swatches & Long Lasting Test

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

This week I wore on my nails the new Clinique A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin in #18 Juiced Up which is a limited edition summer shade from the Clinique A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin Collection (official info & photos). This is a perfect summer shade if you are into fresh, vibrant colors and those who love a pop of orange on their nails will surely love the Juiced Up polish. I want to mention that I received this polish from Clinique PR along with some other Clinique makeup and skincare products (preview & photos) for testing and review purposes.

Clinique #18 Juiced Up Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin ($16.00/ £12.00/ 75.00 Lei for 9 ml/ 0.3 fl oz) is a sweet medium coral orange shade with a subtle sheen. The consistency is very well balanced, right in between thick and thin and the brush glides easily on the nail without leaving any brush lines behind. Even though the color is bright, vibrant and sunny it’s not fully opaque. I’ve applied two coats of Clinique Juiced Up polish which dried into a juicy orange coral with a subtle sheen and I decided to lay a coat of my favorite Kinetics Nano Shark Treatment (review & swatches).

The application went flawlessly without streaking, bubbling and pooling along the edges. I removed Clinique Juiced Up nail enamel today with a few hours prior this review and after 5 days wear the color was still vibrant and shiny. On the nails where I have applied top coat I had very minor tip wear with no chipping while on the nails were I haven’t used top coat the tip wear was slightly more visible.

I love this colour. It’s perfect for summer. The formula sounds wonderful too.

This color would go great with the MAC Morange Lipstick 🙂
