Earlier this month I purchase a few Balea products from my favorite Dm drugstore and one of them was Balea Pearl Lip Balm. Since lately there were high temperatures here I felt that my lips needed extra care so I decided to buy a simply lip balm with pearl effects.

Balea Pearl Lip Balm ( € 1.00/ 4.40 Lei for 4.8 gr) is a sheer very light pink color with white pearl finish. It has a very light and creamy texture that feels soft on the lips. It glides gently on the lips, protecting them against cold air and moisturizing them. It has a very discreet scent and doesn’t contain mineral oils or wax. Once I applied the Pearly Lip Balm I notice it tends to settle a bit into lip lines but it does feel lightweight, keeping lips soft and moisturized for hours. The color has a discreet pearl sheen and looks natural on my lips with a hint towards a white pearl. I feel that this color will complement only those with fair, light and medium skin tones as it might look to white on dark and olive skin tones.
I’m really happy with this lip balm’s formula and the way it nourishes my lips, keeping them soft and moisturized without drying them. It also helps repairing chapped lips and I will keep using it throughout the summer. I will definitely repurchase this product again as I really like how it works and the affordable price.
