Here is a super hot news for Lady Gaga‘s fans. The eccentric diva will launch her first perfume for women in 2012.

Sources confirmed that last week she signed a long-term licensing deal with Coty Inc under her name. Is still to early to say what the fragrance’s  notes are going to be but thinking Lady Gaga I’m sure we won’t be expecting some sweet scent.

I’m crazy about perfumes! I have lots and lots of perfumes, fragrances for every season and occasion. I know I am not posting too much about perfumes (I’m trying to cure my addiction) but I can’t let this news pass.

François Demachy, senior vice president of olfactory development for perfumes at LVMH, created a new woman’s eau de parfum: Fan di Fendi.

What I love about this perfume so far is the bottle design. It looks so elegant to me that my nose must sniff this scent once it will become available.

Fan di Fendi’s 10-, 20- and 30-second spots are slated to run in France on Sept. 19 and from mid-September on in other launch markets. Print advertising was also shot by Baron, in Brooklyn in December, and Gex said the house is working on an online media plan, too.

Miss Pucci – New 2010 Fragrance by Emilio Pucci

I don’t know how you feel about perfumes but I’m crazy about them. I can leave the house without wearing makeup but not without wearing perfume.

Miss Pucci is a new fragrance for women that will be available in stores at the end of August and was created by 3 perfumers: Francois Demachy, Christine Nagel and Benoit Lapouza. I already like the bottle design and if this scent is true to the origins of the House of Pucci then I can’t wait to have it. The word is that in U.S. the new perfume will be available exclusively at 250 Sephora locations.

La Prairie Life Threads – Silver, Gold & Platinum – Perfume Collection – Fall 2009

The famous luxury Swiss brand La Prairie known by its anti-aging treatments has developed for this fall a trilogy of fragrances. After launching their Silver Rain perfume line a while ago, La Prairie is challenging our senses with Life Threads in Silver, Gold and Platinum.

I’m in love with La Prairie face and eye creams but I’ve never tried their perfumes. Few days ago I received a sample of Life Threads Silver and my sense were instantly excited. It was a fragrance totally new to my sense, with an incredible romantic and feminine touch, wrapped together into a floral scent. I can consider myself addicted to perfumes since I have a very big collection of fragrances, but this is one fragrance that definitely should not miss from my collection. Only one in four women consider the expiration date of her cosmetic products, according to dailymail.co.uk. Other women put their health at risk by using cosmetics for several years, even if they start to smell funny or discolor.

Old cosmetics are a real danger to our health. Like the food, cosmetics expire and are dangerous if we are still using them. Over time, following contact with skin, lashes, lips, etc.., cosmetics accumulate bacteria, which multiply and come again on the lips or your skin.

Most women completely forget when they purchased a particular product and use it well beyond the period of validity, which results in the appearance of infections. I like using creams, face creams, eye creams and hand creams but I become instantly lazy when it comes to body creams or body lotions. I guess I don’t have the patience to stay and apply them all over my body. With the hand creams is a little bit different. I used quite a lot of  hand cream back in the days when I had a job that made my hands dry and I needed to hydrating them very well. Back then I was using a normal cream with chamomile but I wished that I could turn back time and used Florena Hand Cream with Chamomile.

I have to admit that during the summer I don’t use so often my hand cream, but when the cold season starts my hands ask for it immediately. I’ve discovered this cream a few months ago and I still have half of it for the cold season (this is only because I bought it during the summer).

What I like:

  • The packaging. It’s a 100 ml tube ( 2 Eur or 3$ ) with a pink design and chamomile flowers ( the pink was what attracted me at first). When I reached for the cream and touch the plastic I was surprised to see that it has a soft texture (can you believe this, I’m talking about the plastic tube). Although the tube is not transparent if you put it in a strong light you can see the amount of product left inside.
  • The smell is very discreet and the chamomile flowers give the cream a pleasant, even calming fragrance.
  • The texture is soft, light and it quickly absorbed by the skin. It has no mineral and silicone oils, so is not oily. Only a little amount a product will hydrate your hands without leaving them oily.
  • The formula with proven chamomile relieves the stress from the sensitive hands.
  • Contains Glycerin and Pro-vitamin B5 that improve the moisture content of the skin and strengthened the fingernails in the same time.

I have been using this moisturizer for a long time so I decided to make this  review because I’m interested to see other opinions of women who have also used this moisturizer. I bought Clinique Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer about 1 year and half ago when I decided to try something else beside Clinique Superdefense. I wanted a moisturizer that won’t leave my skin greasy because after using  Superdefense  for more then a year  I’ve noticed that it does not sinks into the skin  quickly  like before. Also I thought that is about time to start preparing myself to fight the first aging signs. We must start  preventing the apparition of aging signs, since adolescence by using light moisturizers and having a cleaning routine. Being a little over 25 years at that time I didn’t want to use an anti wrinkle cream because I didn’t have any visible wrinkles on my face, except the expression ones which are normal at every age, and I just keep searching for something more like in the beginner area of fighting wrinkles. I bought Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer ( 42$) which is  available in three versions: very Dry to Dry, Dry Combination  and Combination Oily to Oily, which is the one I have. Lips that shines very discreet, attract attention without loading your look to much. You must know that particles that reflects the light make the defects even more visible, so lip’s exfoliating it’s a must.  You can use a towel soaked in hot water, then apply a lip balm and a gloss with shining particles.
