A few months ago I was looking to buy a new foundation and due to the fact that I read so many great reviews about Make Up For Ever HD Foundation I wanted to give it a try. I went to the Make Up For Ever Studio decided to buy a new foundation and take a closer look to their new products (read all about it here).
I have an oily complexion type so I was looking for a oil-free foundation that can give me a matte finish. The makeup artist recommended me the HD Foundation in 117 Marble (for light skin with yellow undertones). The foundation is available in 25 shades to suit all skintones so I’m pretty sure you can your find your own shade. I’ve tested the foundation on my face and I was pretty happy with the shade and the light texture. At that time my face was clear, I had no breakouts or pimples so I couldn’t test the coverage very well.
They say it will cover skin imperfections flawlessly and create a soft-focus effect. After testing it, my complexion had a natural glow, not really matte but I was thinking about the cold winter weather at that time and the makeup artist suggest that will have a more mattyfing effect when the temperatures are low.
