This winter I get to treat my lips with the new Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm, a new very limited edition cocoa scented lip balm part of the new Yves Rocher Cocoa Collection for holiday 2013. I received this Cocoa & Orange scented lip balm about two weeks ago at the second edition of the annual Beauty Bloggers meeting. Since
I love I’m crazy about all chocolate and cocoa scented makeup products, I couldn’t resist testing this lip balm right away along with my new Yves Rocher Cocoa & Orange Moisturizing Hand Cream (review & photos).
Now at Yves Rocher counters for a limited time only and online @yvesrocherusa.com, @yves-rocher.ro
Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm ($2.40 / 10.00 Lei for 4 g / 0.14 oz) is applied without feeling sticky or having a waxy finish. Lips are instantly soft and healthy looking while they are moisturized. It gives lips a natural looking sheen without changing their natural color. This nourishing lip balm contains Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Karite butter and essential oils of Orange and Petit Grain.
A lip balm is definitely a must have product for winter if you are living in a cold climate like I am and you don’t want to have chapped lips.
I love the scent and the packaging but I’m not really comfortable about the way it applies. It doesn’t glide quite smoothly and easily across the lips and when I go outside (in the terrible winter cold) and stay for more than 20 minutes my lips began to feel dry and I need to reapply the lip balm.
