The other day when I was at the pharmacy I stopped to take a look at some of the makeup products. I don’t use to buy makeup from pharmacy but this time I laid my eye on two products: Technic Fruity Lip Gloss and Hide It! Concealer Palette (review soon).
You know I’m crazy about lip glosses and when they came in pink shades I can’t resist them. I never tried any products from Technic before, I didn’t even knew this brand existed. Have you ever bought a Technic product? How was it?
Technic Fruity Lip Gloss comes in a 15 ml tube and the price of $ 3.00 seemed very cheap to me.
Only by checking the color straight from the tube seemed like a nice lip gloss to me but because it was sealed and there were no testers available I had to buy it without trying it first. Usually I don’t buy products without swatching them on my hand before but considering the price, I didn’t mind this time.
Once I got home I was anxious to see if the color will look the same on my lips. As you can see from this photo is really a sweet pink shade with lots of shimmery particles. So far so good! Lets see the lip swatches. 🙂

I’m really happy to see the color is not so sheer like I was afraid it will be. It’s the real shade from the tube, with lots of shimmer and I like the mirror effect on my lips.
Bare lips vs Fruity lips
The smell is also wonderful, my lips really smells like fruits, strawberry or something like that. The texture is non sticky, which I love it. I wasn’t really expecting so much from this lip gloss in the first place. I admit I only wanted a nice pink color.
The only think that I don’t like so much is the applicator brush. I must press the tube just a little so the product can come out on the brush.
I never used this kind of applicator before and maybe that’s why I don’t like the idea but maybe I’ll get used to it. The application was OK, this little brush glided perfectly on my lips, spreading just enough amount of product. Just one push on the tube released enough product to cover my lips.
My conclusion: I’m happy I found the Fruity Lip Gloss because it really has a nice shimmery color. It’s a great deal considering the $ 3.00 price and 15 ml of product. Smells like fruits and it’s non sticky. The brush doesn’t look so good to me but I can’t complain about the application because everything worked out smoothly.
I hope you enjoyed this review. Do buy makeup products from your pharmacy? Please share! 🙂
