Shiseido Perfect Mascara Defining Volume is a new product, part of Shiseido Fall 2010 Makeup Collection. It’s already available in the shops and online @Shiseido, Sephora or Macy’s for the price of $ 23.00.
There are 2 shades too choose from: the classical black and brown.
Each naked lash richly coated from the root to the tip, creating an overwhelming 200% volume for maximum impact. Intense, deep, vivid colors further enhance the presence of every single lash. All-day, smudge-free finish that lasts.
As a general rule, mascaras include wax, coating and volatizing ingredients, powder and other componenets. In theory, increasing the quantity of wax and powder could enhance the volume. In practice, there is a definite limit to the use of these volume- increasing ingredients. Not getting the balance precisely correct can result in mascara-clumping of solidification. Shiseido’s new Creamy Volume Wax, Smooth Volume Powder and Glossy Volume Oil have eliminated many of the issues associated with volume enhancing ingredients.
Three volume-enhancing ingredients of Perfect Mascara Defining Volume
- Creamy Volume Wax
Waxes used in mascara work to set lashes and to give a voluminous appearance, but excessive amounts cause the mascara to solidify. Now, thanks to new Creamy Volume Wax, this problem has been defeated. So creamy and smooth that it can even coat a single lash, and is compatbile with other volume enhancing ingredients such as powders. Wax is clear and lustrous for vivid color.
- Smooth Volume Powder
Spherically shaped and even-sized powder grain spreads smoothly and evenly over the surface of each single lash leaving a voluminous finish. Due to excellent water repellency and dispersion performance, volume can be further enhanced by increasing the amount of this agent.
- Glossy Volume Oil
A lustrous and concentrated oil letting Creamy Volume Wax and Smooth Volume Powder adhere securely to lashes. Promotes a rich luster that enhances eye lashes.
