The MAC PRO Team of makeup artists from around the world created the make-up looks that appeared on fashion runways at London Fashion Week this September.
Previously I’ve posted some of MAC SS 2011 face charts seen at LFW on 19 September and now I’m gonna continue with those make-up looks from 20 September.
This time I will start with my favorite face chart from that day which is a makeup done by Lucia Pieroni for Christopher Kane‘s collection. Take a look at those defined eyebrows, I absolutely love them. 🙂
It’s princess Margaret on acid! I’m chanelling Camilla Rutherford in ‘Gosford Park’ – girls who are terribly well bred, but a little bit crazy.
Blacktrack Fluidline – a trace at the base of the upper lashes for definition.
Curled Lashes – no mascara.
Coquette or Omega Eye Shadow – to groom in a thirties feeling Brooke Shields Brow, very brushed up and thick.
Lip Conditioner – patted onto the lips.
Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 – massaged into skin.
Select Moisture Cover Concealer – where needed.
Pinch O’ Peach Powder Blush – on the apples of the cheeks for a ripe peachy flush.
The second face chart shows the makeup done by Andrew Gallimore for Erdem‘s collection.
This is weightless, efortless makeup inspired by woodland fairies and nymphs…there’s an innocence about it. It feels poetic.
Blonde Ash Studio Finish Skin Corrector – applied onto the lid in a solid block of color. Using a 224 brush, it was then blended out, but not up. No Edges! – also applied to lower lash line for definition using a 226 brush. Softened with a 239 brush.
Select Moisturecover Concealer – sparingly patted on upper and lower lips over lip conditioner.
Face and Body Foundation – buffed onto skin using a 130 brush.
Posey Blushcream – applied onto centre of cheeks to add a flush.
Select Moisturecover Concealer – applied where needed.
Strobe Cream – patte onto upper cheekbones to add highlight.
Gloss Texture – placed over strobe cream and brushed through brows.
This last face chart shows probably the boldest make-up look and was realized by Miranda Joyce for the models presenting Giles‘s fashion collection.
It’s Mick Jagger in performance meets the seventies drag act, the coquettes…although it’s bohemian and arty rather than draggy, and definitely not perfect.
MAC PRO Gold Glitter – over the lids, packed on tight at the lash line, applied onto mixing medium lash with a 242 brush.
MAC PRO Turquoise or Pro Pink Glitter – applied in the same way all around the gold and up into the brows, around in a ‘C’ shape beneath the eyes in a free and arty, not perfect style.
Plushblack Plush Lash Mascara – several coats on top and bottom lashes.
Brows bleached if necessary.
Lady Danger lipstick – softly applied.
Clear LipGlass – for a full-on vinyl finish.
Face and Body Foundation – where needed, fresh skin is so important so this look stays modern.
