Hey Girls!
Lancome has already launched their French Coquettes newest collection for fall 2010 that I wrote about a few weeks back. I honestly like the collection, I mean not all the products but most of them.
The promo photo is also gorgeous and I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful supermodel Daria Webowy and actress Elettra Wiedemann working together for the add of this Limited Edition collection.
I really like their makeup looks in this add and that’s why I planned this mini tutorial together with the 2 face charts. 🙂
“Pretty. Potent. Provocative. That’s the new vision for fall from LancĂ´me Artistic Makeup Director Aaron De Mey. The seductive color statement mixes urban sophistication with witty chic. Saturated shades of black and silver blend with blood cherry to capture the passionate temper of the Parisian.”
So if you are interested on how to achieve one of these 2 gorgeous looks, follow me after the jump…Daria Makeup Look – Mini Tutorial
Color Design Eyeshadow Quad in French Touch – wash the dusty rose shadow across the lid with a blending shadow brush. Apply contour, using the eggplant shade with an angle shadow brush. For best placement, apply just above the natural crease with your eyes open. Using a smudger brush, line lower lash line to create a smoky effect. Highlight under the brow with the pink vanilla shadow. Lastly, place Ombre Magnetique in Urban Silver in the inner corner of the eye. For added drama layer Ombre Magnetique in Cherry Cherie on the ball of the eye.
Artliner Plum Glimmer – line upper and lower lash line. To add intensity to the eyes use Le Crayon Khol in Black Ebony (or any black khol that you have) along the water line.
Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base – condition and prime your lashes with this mascara base.
Definicils Precious Cells Mascara Black – using a zigzag movement, apply to top and bottom lashes.
Le Crayon Poudre Taupe – fill in brows, using the angled end of the Dual End Liner and Shadow Brush#18. Starting at the tail of the brow, fill in areas that are sparse, so brows look full and even.
Elletra Makeup Look – Mini Tutorial
Ombre Magnetique – apply using Dual and Liner and Shadow brush #18 or fingertip application. Apply Ombre Magnetique in Black Macadam to the outer contour and Ombre Magnetique in Urban Silver in the inner corner – blend together to create a seamless smoky eye. Line the upper and lower lash line with Artliner in Sparkling Noir – intensify water line with Le Crayon Khol in Black Ebony.
Oscillation Powerbooster – press the button to activate the micro vibrations and apply one coat, straight and steady from roots to tip of lashes.
Definicils Precious Cell Mascara Black – using a zigzag movement, apply to top and bottom lashes.
Le Crayon Poudre Brunet – fill in brows using the angled end of Dual end Liner and Shadow brush #18. Starting at the outer end of the brow, fill in areas that are sparse to make the brows full and even.
