I will end my nail polish review series of Kinetics Neon Spring 2012 Collection (nail swatches, photos & info) with Kinetics Oops, Green! nail color (€6.00 for 14 ml / 0.5 fl oz). The entire collection was launched in U.S. in February 2012 (@kineticsnails.com) and Internationally in March 2012.
In Romania, Kinetics Neon Spring 2012 nail colors will be available in April 2012 at dedicated beauty salons and online @kiriloff.ro for the price of 25.00 Lei.
Kinetics Oops, Green! nail polish is a bright grass green with yellow undertones. It’s an electric color, just that new green shade we see at the beginning of spring. The same as other polishes from this collection, Oops, Green! leaves a semi matte finish with just a bit of shine in it which become more matte in the evening when the light is not that bright. It looks quite transparent in one coat but even two coats won’t make it look completely opaque. I haven’t added a top coat because I didn’t want a neon shiny finish for this color just yet but I applied Kinetics Nano Rhino Base Coat & Treatment (review & nail swatches) before the color. The application went flawlessly. The texture is just the right combination of a light cream so it gave me no streaking, pooling or bubbling. It dries very quickly almost within a minute.

Kinetics Oops, Green! Nail Polish after 4 days wear
The same as the other neons from this collection, Oops, Green! still had a bright color 4 days later and no chipping. I had minor tip wear and as you can see from the photo the color became more matte (water, soap and lotions will do that) but I’m very pleased with the results considering no top coat was applied.

I hope you enjoyed this review and find it helpful. Would you see yourself wearing such a bright fresh green? 🙂
