I’m finally posting the last review of nail polish from Kinetics Change It Up! 2010 Spring Collection. The last nail polish to review from this collection is Demure, a creamy brown shade with fine shimmering particles.
I’ve applied a base coat prior applying the two coats of Demure. The color really sparkles in sun light and has shimmering effects. You don’t need to use a top coat if you want a shiny colors, because Demure surely will deliver that.
I’ve applied one layer of top coat only to check out the result after a few days and compare it with those nails where I didn’t use a top coat.

Demure nail polish + top coat
Look how shiny it is. Unfortunately I had a small incident right after I’ve applied the nail polish, and because I’m so lazy I didn’t bother to fix it and reapply a new layer of top coat.
The texture is creamy, the color is opaque so 2 coats will be enough to get the final result.
Demure nail polish 4 days later
Like most of the nail polishes from this collection Demure is a long-lasting color and chip resistant nail polish.
Demure nail polish + top coat -4 days later
As I told you before I had a little incident right after I’ve applied the nail polish so that’s why my first nail looks like this. Judging the color on the other nails I would say this nail polish is definitely a keeper.
Because I’ve applied a base coat before and a top coat after, the polish was not that fast drying and it took several minutes before it completely dried.
Now let me show you how Demure without top coat looks like after only 4 days.
Demure nail polish – no top coat – after 4 days
I know it doesn’t look so shiny like in the beginning but i don’t see any chipped ends after so many days. Those line that you see are from my nails so it’s not nail polish fault. 🙂
I hope this review was helpful for you guys. I really liked this collection and I have a couple of favorites. Please feel free to share your impressions. 🙂
