Today I will review Kinetics Dawn Tea nail polish from Kinetics Winter 2012 Let’s Pink Collection (preview & swatches) that I’ve told you about a couple of months ago. I worn Dawn Tea only for a day on my nails so this time I don’t have any before and after photos to show you and I can’t show you how long lasting this color really is. If you like to wear more natural and pastel colors on your nails this color might be you.
Now @kineticsnails.com, @kiriloff.ro, @margaritabelska.com and at Exclusive Beauty Line Academy in Bucharest.
Kinetics Dawn Tea nail lacquer (€6.00/ 25.00 Lei/ £3.60 for 15 ml/ 0.5 fl oz) is a medium green taupe resembling the color of a green tea. The color is semi opaque in one coat and fully opaque and with a glossy finish after the second coat. The formula was just slightly on the thinner side which made the lacquer look a bit streaky when I applied the first coat. The second coat of Dawn Tea polish was applied smoothly and covered any streakiness that the first coat left behind, without any pooling on the edges or bubbling.
The lacquer received a super glossy finish once I applied a thin coat of Kinetics Nano Shark Treatment (review & swatches). I usually get a weak of wear out with Kinetics’s formulas with very minor tip wear. Some of the polishes tend to chip after the fifth day only if the formula is really thick.
