In order to get treatment for “anxiety and depression” the “Melrose Place” actress has entered rehab. The 46-year-old star had it rough after her divorce in 2006 from Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora and after enduring a series of personal trials this year. All of this can cause “anxiety and depression” so she agreed to follow doctor’s orders and to check herself into a facility in Arizona. There she will be taken care of by professionals in order to re-evaluate her medical condition.
A source said: “She wanted to feel better and get to the bottom of what was troubling her. She’s had a rough year.”
Her spokesperson Cece Yorke confirms the rehab rumor and tells:
Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.
The announcement comes after the emergency call made in March by a man claiming to be a doctor, who told authorities he fears Locklear might be suicidal and suggesting she was planning to overdose with her depression medication. After the incident Heather said she didn’t need medical help because she was fine.
The star who just finished filming “Flirting with 40” an US TV movie has a 10-year-old daughter with her ex-husband Richie Sambora and she’s going out with Jack Wagner. Maybe you remember Jack being her co-worker in “Melrose Place”. The 48-year-old star seems to be very supportive and says:
Anyone who has the courage to seek help in order to live a healthy life gets my support 110 percent.
