I’m just confused why you used my photos but removed the watermarks.

Because they are promo photos, they are not personal photos. I credited you because you were the first one to post the promo photos and this is the right thing to do. 🙂

Too Faced still is going with the cutesy themes, I guess their appealing to a certain demographic. Hope the eyeshadow palette is good.

Because it’s copyright infringement and a violation of copyright law.

It would be if Too Faced asked me to take them down. As long as you put your own watermark on promo photo is not. It’s just something to maybe protect you from others who use the photos without crediting you. I did it sometimes too, but as long as someone will credit me I’m willing to share the original photos without the watermark. I was happy to give you credit for being the first (as far as I know) to have posted this collection. These photos will be soon posted by everyone depending on when Too Faced or PRs will share them in each country.

I find it really unfortunate that as a fellow blogger you find this an appropriate practice.

Shawna, I don’t mean any harm, but you can’t claim copyright on photos that are not your own (taken by you). Think that according to you everyone could watermark promo photos or photos from other bloggers and say they have the copyright which is totally false. Having copyright means that it has to be your photo. I credited you so I don’t understand what’s the problem. Too Faced photos are not your property I also asked the Too Faced PR. You should just take a closer look at the copyright terms as other bloggers don’t even bother to mention the source (like I did) when we are talking about promo images.

Thanks for letting us know this blogger’s website. Now I know where NOT to go to since this person is stupid and doesn’t understand copyright laws. Why would I let her tell me about what to put on my face?
