I have a new sneak peek for you today so those who love Shu Uemura products gather around to hear the latest news. At the end of summer Shu Uemura will release The Light Bulb Fluid Foundation which is described as a full coverage fluid foundation with a light formula that will look natural and glowy on your face without being heavy. I’m really interested in testing this new foundation since I want a full coverage only in the cold season and so far I’ve been counting on Revlon Colorstay all winter long but I would definitely test another foundation with a lighter formula.

Shu Uemura Summer 2013 Eye-Conic Collection will be released next month as a tribute for the 30th anniversary of its Omotesando boutique and for Shu Uemura’s firs mode makeup collection Flaggy.. The inspiration for this collection was the “iconic girl” which turned heads with her charm when she walked by. Since the ’60s trend is coming back the shades for this season are pink, orange, blue and green for the eye makeup while lips are painted in vibrant colors of pink and orange.

Karl Lagerfeld Hosts Shu Uemura Event – Info & Photos

Last Tuesday night in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld was present at the press launch of his own Mon Shu Holiday 2012 Collection (info & photos) done in collaboration with Shu Uemura beauty brand. The new collection that made so many waves among beauty blogs since the news about this collaboration came out in early summer is due to hit the counters in October on international shops while in Japan it will be available on 1 November 2012. The cartoon spokesmodel with red eyes and a jet-black bob, dressed in Lagerfeld’s signature high white collar and black tie was ubiquitous.

She popped up on product packaging and took center stage in the vast Espace Commines location as an oversized balloon. Waiters served pastel-colored Japanese desserts in containers whose lids were decorated with Mon Shu’s face, and so were small round chocolates and other delicacies. Hello lovelies!

Shu Uemura‘s new collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld for a new collection was announced this year in June and since then sneak peeks about this upcoming collection have been popping up on almost beauty blog. We just have to wait a little bit longer to check out Mon Shu Uemura Holiday 2012 Collection in person because the launch date was scheduled for November. I wasn’t very excited at first, even knowing that Karl designed and photographed the entire collection but now after seeing the eyeshadow palettes I’m starting to get anxious. I’m not really digging the girl wearing his signature white shirt and black tie so the packaging kind of ruins it for me.
