Hello Ladies,
I just finished the last nail polish review from The Art of Spring 2010 collection by Essie, so it’s time for a Review Round-Up post.
The collection contains 6 shades of pastel colors but I’ve got only 5 of them. Each nail polish comes in a 15 ml bottle for the price of $8.00.

I can’t say that I like every nail polish from this collection but I have a one or two favorites. I liked the pastel colors straight from the bottle but some of them disappointed me when I applied them on my nails. The application was not so easy and lines were left behind.
Other nail polishes have a really great texture and the brush glides easily just like it was suppose to. The pastel coral shades are among my favorites if we are to talk about the application and the red color seemed to be the most chip resistant.
I still regret that I didn’t get to try Pop Art of Pink since I love the color but who knows maybe sometimes soon I will complete the collection.
So here are my 5 reviews, all you have to do is just a color and see what I think about it:
Let me know what you think about this collection and if you already purchase any of these pastel spring colors.
Hi everyone,
My last review on Essie “The Art of Spring” 2010 Collection will be about Red Nouveau nail polish.
The new must-have red is a fiery hot crimson that makes a true fashion statement. The color is available in a 15 ml bottle for a $8.00 price.
Red is not my favorite color and actually I almost never use this color, not on my lips and not even on my nails. I prefer shades of pink because my skin is very pale.
This is a red classic color and if you like it I say go for it. The texture has the perfect combination, not too liquid and not to pasty so the application was an easy thing to do. I have applied 2 coats of Red Nouveau nail polish and you can see the result in the photo bellow.

Red Nouveau – 2 coats of nail polish + top coat
Well, yes this time I decided to apply top coat only on the nails from my left hand and compare the results after 5 days. Do you like the color so far? Here I took another photo just to see better this fiery red. Continue reading ‘Essie Red Nouveau Nail Polish from “The Art of Spring” 2010 Collection – Review + Swatches’
Hi everyone,
I just finished the last review on Kinetics nail polish so it’s time for a Review Round-up Post. I’ve really enjoyed testing these colors and let me tell you they are very chip resistant.
The colors are not from the newest collection Change It Up, but I promise to review those colors too as soon as I will get them.

From left to right: Top of the Wave, Don’t Promise, Darkside and Deja Vu
I don’t know if you are familiar with the brand, I myself only found out about it last year but I’m already a fan. All the nail polishes that I’ve tried so far lasted on my nails for about 4-5 without using any top coat which I think is pretty amazing considering the price. I’ve payed for every bottle of 15 ml around $7.00.
Pick up your favorite color and enjoy reading the review. Please let me know what you think about it, in the end.
I will end my Kinetics review series with Don’t Promise polish review.
Among other three nail polishes, Don’t Promise is part of the Kinetics Film Noir 1 Collection. So far I’ve been reviewing another two colors from the Film Noir 3 collection but the collection description is similar.

“Reminiscent of the ’40s and ’50s, this selection presents the vibrant colors seen in Winter 2008 fashion shows. The dramatic, sanguine red of Unspoken Love flows into the sensual, bright raspberry glow of Sweet Smell of Success. Emotionally deep, blue Sinful and the turquoise of Thrilling together add sinister hues to the palette. Hollywood glamour returns in gold brocade, flickering with subtle cinnamon Powder Puff nuances. But it is a false sense of tranquility, shattered by the glittering, licentious black.”
Don’t Promise is beautiful fresh green hue that I would like to wear it in the Spring season. It’s a very bright and vibrant color that can attracted attention on your nails. Continue reading ‘Kinetics Don’t Promise Nail Polish – Review + Swatches’
Hi everyone,
I know some of you are waiting for this review, because I promised a few weeks ago that I will do it so I’m sorry for being so late.
Darkside nail polish is one of the four nail polishes that are included in the Film Noir 3 collection by Kinetics. From this collection I’ve also reviewed Deja Vu nail polish.

Darkside is more like a winter color and you’ve probably seen it in the Winter 2008 fashion shows. It’s a beautiful grey hue not to shiny if you choose it to wear it without a top coat.

The result from the photo was obtained after 2 coats of Darkside polish. The application was very easy and I had no problem layering the 2 coats. No lines were left behind. The color is pigmented and those two coats were enough to get the final perfect look. Continue reading ‘Kinetics Darkside Nail Polish – Review + Swatches’
Hi Girls,
Another Essie nail polish review is ready. Let’s take a closer look to Lilacism a beautiful spring hue from The Art of Spring collection.
Elegant and enchanting, this satiny smooth lilac whispers springtime. A beautiful color in the bottle but not so beautiful on my nails.
The price of the 15 ml bottle is $8.00 and can be also found on Essie website. Take a look at the first picture and trust me when I tell you that I took this photo after I layered two coats of Lilacism nail polish.

2 Coats of Lilacism – no top coat
Well that’s right the color is beautiful while it’s in the bottle but once it gets on my nails it’s done. Like the Neo Whimsical nail polish from the same collection this one is also very fluid. Even after I laid the second layer of top coat the color was not true to the one in the bottle. Hi everyone,
Today I’ve prepared another nail polish review for you. Essie Neo Whimsical nail polish is part of the Art of Spring 2010 nail polish collection.
The same as the other five nail polishes included in this collection, the color comes in a 15 ml bottle and you can find it available for purchase even online on Essie website for $8.00.

Neo Whimsical – no top coat
Neo Whimsical is definitely a spring shade, a pastel rose plum hue. When I first heard about this collection I must say that I thought Neo Whimsical will be my second favorite after the Pop Art of Pink nail polish, but now I’ve changed my mind. Hi Girls,
We are already in the spring season for a couple of days now so I thought I will review the Van D’Go nail polish. This is one of the six color included in the Essie The Art of Spring 2010 Collection.
Van D’Go is what I can really call a spring color. A beautiful soft peachy shade is what my nails needed to for this Spring. The polish comes in a 15 ml bottle and it’s available for $8.00 on Essie website.
Although is more a pastel color it can leave a vivid impact.
