Hi Girls!

Last week I finished testing all the colors included in Kinetics Backstage Nail Polish Collection for Fall – Winter 2010 (preview + swatches) so it’s time to start reviewing the entire collection.

Quick Change nail polish is a pastel gray creme with fine silver glitter and the lightest color of this collection.  It comes in a 15 ml (0.5 fl oz) bottle and the price is different for every country but just so you can get an idea the average will be 3.50 Eur or 3.35£.

Quick Change is an opaque polish so 2 coats will be enough. It has its own shine and that wet nails effect look. This photo was taken under natural light and I’m wearing one coat of Nano Seal Treatment (review + swatches) and only 2 coats of Quick Change. I have a pale skin so I don’t like to wear pastel and nude nail polishes. This nail polish would definitely look better on someone with medium skin tone. Hello pretty girls!

I’m gonna start my reviews series of Kinetics Backstage Collection for fall – winter 2010 (preview post + swatches) with one of my favorite colors from this collection.

Blackout nail polish was one of the colors that I fall in love with instantly and I saw many of you like it also. Blackout is a perfect autumn winter color for me because I love wearing dark nails and this one is really dark. From a distance you may think is only a black nail polish but when you get a closer you discover that rich dark plum color with purple undertones.

I’ve notice that sometimes it can reflect  a burgundy wine shade with just a little bit of violet undertones. The color is rich, has a creamy texture which glides on easily, giving you a simple and even application.

Hello!

Finally the last nail polish review of Kinetics Summer Kiss Collection for summer 2010. I should have reviewed Melting Ice Cream nail polish first due to its name but since I’m crazy about ice cream I wanted to save this for last.

Too bad this Melting Ice Cream doesn’t have my favorite flavor.

Kinetics Melting Ice Cream nail polish – 2 coats and no top coat – natural light

When I look at this Melting Ice Cream I’m thinking cappuccino mixed with vanilla flavor because is such a pastel natural color. On my nails it look so simple because it gets confused with my skin color so I’m not usually wearing pastel nail polishes.

Today I’m gonna review another nail polish from Kinetics Summer Kiss Nail Polish Collection for summer 2010 (preview post + swatches).

Pale Petunia is a beautiful pastel light lilac color with a creamy texture. This is one of the 3 nail polishes from this collection that are not so bright and does not contain any glitter or shimmer inside its texture. If you like a simple pale violet color with glossy finish then you should give your nails a taste of Pale Petunia.

Wearing Kinetics Pale Petunia – 2 coats – natural light

It took me 2 coats to get the final result for an uniform application. The polish is opaque and glides on smoothly, without woring about lines or uneven application. Before I’ve applied those 2 coats of Pale Petunia I laid 1 coat of Base Coat so by adding the final top coat I was afraid the 4 layers might too thick for the polish to resist more than 3-4 days.
