Hello my Beauties,
After the news about Pastel Nail Collection, Illamasqua had been keeping a low profile. That was a sign they were up to something. I’ve been expecting some news about their summer collection for a long time and finally today I got some information.

Illamasqua is introducing the first collection of make-up for the whole body called Body Electrics.
Body Electrics is inspired by the power of kinetic energy, the art of movement, the fluidity of the body in motion. The collection is an anthology of creams, powders and dry body oils infused with light, shimmer and shine, designed to highlight and contour your whole body. Containing hyper-pigmented light-reflecting particles that ignite the skin with intense colours and finishes, each product in the range has been created to accentuate the body’s every twist and turn to exquisite perfection, ensuring you exude a confidence that’s more than skin deep. Hi everyone,
Finally I’m ready to post my second makeup inspired by Illamasqua Android Pure Pigment. Black and Pink are my two favorite colors that I use all the time in my makeup routine. I’ve tried to do a makeup look something between a cat eye and smokey eye by combining these 2 shades.

Pink is a color that always succeeded to raise my mood and make me feel happy. Android Pure Pigment has shimmering particles included which can be the right shade to use for an evening makeup, party makeup or any fancy celebration where you want your eye to sparkle. Hi everyone,
today’s Smokey Eye Chic Makeup is inspired by Illamasqua’s Android Pure Pigment. As I promised in the review of the Android Pure Pigment here is one of my favorite’s eye makeup looks.

I’ve done this look last week together with another one in pink eyeshadows that I hope to post it soon. I’ve been so lazy lately most of it because of the weather outside and these cold temperatures but I really hope to finish with this phase and post the other smokey eye makeup look (I’ve already took photos) in the next few days.

This is what I came up with and I hope you guys will like it. Let me know what you think about it (I’m not so talented I know that) in the comments bellow.

Yes, that’s right! Seems like everyone is falling in love with the Pastel Nails from Illamasqua. The new collection for Spring 2010 that contains 4 new pastel shades varnishes seems to be a real hit for Illamasqua.
They predict a sell out for this Spring collection and that’s why they’ve taken and extra site at Selfridges Oxford St on 21st January.

Even though these colors are waited online and in store from March, Illamasqua registered a “phenomenal demand both online and in store” so they’ve come up with a waiting list that has debuted at Selfridges Oxford St on 21 January.
These 4 new pastel colors are absolutely gorgeous and I can understand why everyone is trying to bring home at least one bottle (if not the entire Pastel Nails collection) from this Spring collection.
The shades are:
- Wink – a lovely lavender lilac for the girls and guys who love their nails ultra pretty and feminine.
- Nudge – a lovely mint ice cream shade.
- Caress – a beautiful cornflower blue that is delectable hybrid of blue and grey. Very unique.
- Blow – Think of the yummiest lemon sorbet you’ve ever had. We’ve bottled it.
Which one is your favorite? I would buy the entire collection if it was up to me but my favorite color is Wink.
If you want to see swatches and read more info please check out Illamasqua’s blog.
It’s time for another Chic Review and today I will be talking about the Pure Pigment in Android by Illamasqua from their winter collection Dystopia.

This is the third review I’m doing on the Illamasqua products after the Nail Varnish in Velocity and Sheer Lipgloss in Explode and I’m really very excited about this one because black is one of the colors that I usually include in my makeup.

If you want something that you can play with, Pure Pigment is your product. It’s a metallic, high-shine, pure-color powder that highlights eyes, cheeks and brows. Mix with eye shadow, blusher or use it on its own to intense effect. Bring out your bold side.
The package
It comes in a very chic and elegant pot with a stylish design. The top is black and printed with the Illamasqua sign, while the bottom is transparent and you can see the product.

The price is £15.00 for 1.3 g (0.04 oz) but you can also get it in a bigger size. The Pure Pigment is available in 12 beautiful shades, including Android of course, and you can check them all (including swatches) right here. Illamasqua is one of my favorite cosmetic brands and I have to agree with Glamour on ” High pigment, long-lasting colors specially formulated for die-hard party girls”. Therefore I want to present you some of the Christmas Gifts that Illmasqua had prepared for your alter ego.
As I’m sure you already know, Illamasqua celebrated its first birthday last month and came also with a new version of website. What could probably be easily named The Best Website Ever has all the product details that you need in order to purchase online makeup.
Pantomime Nails Duos – £ 25.00

Who doesn’t want her nails looking fabulous for the Holidays! These long-lasting shades (hard-wearing and chip-resistant) will ensure our nails will be brilliance this Christmas and not only. First you have to apply the darker shade and after add a layer of sparkle on top for a stunning result.
They are available in 2 shades:

The other day after my shopping spree and beautiful experience at the Make Up For Ever shop I stopped by Sephora to a new lipgloss for me, but for the first time in a long time ( I guess very very long time) I decided that’s time for me to try something else rather than pink lipgloss.
The Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Silver Toupe no 17 was my choice for stopping the reign of the pink lipglosses (at least for a while). I payed $ 14.90 the same as in US.

Since I already had at home the Illamasqua Sheer Lipgloss Explode ( read my review here) with its pump applicator, I’ve decided to buy a lipgloss that has a normal applicator, the one that I’m used to it.

Hi girls!
How is your weekend so far? What are your plans for Saturday night? Before getting ready for a party night I thought to share with you my impressions on the Illamasqua Explode the newest Sheer Lipgloss from the Dystopia, the Autumn/ Winter Collection of 2009.

As you already know by now, I’m crazy for any lipgloss in pink shade, shimmery, sheer, with water reflections or anything that can make my lips look fuller and sparkling.
The package
First of all, the lipgloss comes in a tube simple but chic in the same time. After you remove the black cap you can notice the pump which serves also as an applicator. You just need to gently push the tube to make the lipgloss come along the pump.
