La Prairie is one of my top two favorite brands when it comes to skincare products. It’s a luxury brand and their products have amazingly high products especially in Europe but indeed they have great products that can deliver the exact promised results.

I used their products for almost 4 years and my skin feels spoiled everyday and it’s showing. Today I wanna talk to you about La Prairie Essence of Skin Caviar Eye Complex which I received it as a 5 ml /0.17 fl oz sample together with the purchase of my favorite La Prairie Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 15 (review & photos). Since the normal La Prairie eye cream contains 15 ml / 0.5 oz and lasts me about 6 months this sample was enough for testing and reviewing. I used it for a month before I postpone its application for testing another eye cream. It still has a good amount of product left inside.

La Prairie Essence of Skin Caviar Eye Complex (15 ml /0.5 oz for $135.00 even up to €150.00 in Europe) is a transparent gel rapidly absorbed into the skin. Face Care Products I’m Currently Using in Spring 2012 – Quick Review

I’ve been thinking about posting this article for a long time now. I’ve been away from Chicprofile for the whole 2011 year and during this time I used a lot of face care products from different brands. Probably I will make another post with the face care products I used in the last 6 months but for now I just want to show you which are the ones I’m currently using.

Some of you know that I prefer high end brands when it comes to take care of my complexion and if you have been reading Chicprofile in the past you probably noticed that La Mer and La Prairie are my favorite cosmetic brands. I’m also loving Clinique, Lancaster, Shu Uemura and I don’t say no to drugstore brands, because in my opinion the best products for my skin doesn’t have to be the most pricy.

I would love to know what products are your currently using, especially if you have oily to combination and sensitive skin like me. I really like to hear what are your favorite face care products and how important is face care routine for you. Do you take more care of your skin rather then cover it with makeup all the time? Please share your thoughts with the rest of us.

For me, face care routine is very important and it has been very important for the last 12 years. I don’t wear makeup everyday, I give my skin time to breathe and I never go to sleep without cleansing my skin (even though I didn’t wear makeup that day) and applying my face and eye cream.

Here are the products I’m using everyday (some more than others) so I will give you my quick opinion about each and every one of them. If you want me to review any of these products separately please just let me know.

I have combination skin (oily in the T-zone) and also my complexion is very sensitive. The advantage of having combination or oily skin is that once you get older your wrinkles won’t be so visible like if you had dry skin. If when I was a teenager I had to fight all those pimples, breakouts and nasty red spots because of the oiliness of my skin, now at my age I can enjoy that my complexion is aging slower than the ones having dry skin. Since my skin has the perfect relationship with La Mer products I wanted to try this new balm so badly but I couldn’t help it to make this short preview post. I will return with a review in a few weeks because I wanna take my time to notice the effects and results on my skin.

I know the price may be a big disadvantage for some of you but from my experience so far with La Mer’s products (and my eye cream from La Prairie) a little goes a long way and the results are amazing. I’m always looking for new and better products for my skincare. I’m a big fan of La Mer and I’ve been using their products for over a year now. I like using the best for my skin because the results are visible and I simply think my skin deserves the best.

You could say I’m more crazy about skincare products that I’m about makeup because I’m not always going outside wearing makeup so I like that my skin looks fresh and natural.

Review: Creme de la Mer – A miracle come true

Creme de la Mer is where miracles begin. I’m skeptical about miracles sometimes too but this one sounded so good that it must be true. So I decided to try this cream and see the effects on my own skin.

Creme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream Review: Creme de la Mer A miracle come true

I’ve been using this cream for more than 6 weeks now, and I figured it’s just about time to make a review. I like to test the creams for a longer period of time, especially the ones who claim to be anti-wrinkle because you have to give them time to adapt with your skin and until you will see the effects it will take a few weeks, depending on the cream.

I’ve been using good creams before this one too (even anti-wrinkles) so I can’t really say that I had a lot of wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles. I always used face and eye creams and I took very good care of my complexion.

I just turned 28 in the beginning of December so I’m qualified for testing anti-wrinkles creams, because I’ve also start using them for over a year now. It is said you should start using anti-wrinkles creams not when you notice your first lines but long before that because you want to prevent their appearance.

First of all I want to let you know that I have an oily type of skin. If you girls have the same you know for sure that it takes special care and you always try to fight shine (at least I do). I have been searching for creams that will be absorbed fast by the skin without leaving my complexion looking oily but I can’t say that I’ve found the perfect one yet.
