Review: Creme de la Mer – A miracle come true

Creme de la Mer is where miracles begin. I’m skeptical about miracles sometimes too but this one sounded so good that it must be true. So I decided to try this cream and see the effects on my own skin.

I wrote a preview for this moisturizing cream a few days ago, where I talked about its ingredients (which are all natural), what you should expect of it, the price, how it was made and by who. So, if you are interested in those details please read the preview here.

Creme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream Review: Creme de la Mer A miracle come true

I’ve been using this cream for more than 6 weeks now, and I figured it’s just about time to make a review. I like to test the creams for a longer period of time, especially the ones who claim to be anti-wrinkle because you have to give them time to adapt with your skin and until you will see the effects it will take a few weeks, depending on the cream.

I’ve been using good creams before this one too (even anti-wrinkles) so I can’t really say that I had a lot of wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles. I always used face and eye creams and I took very good care of my complexion.

I just turned 28 in the beginning of December so I’m qualified for testing anti-wrinkles creams, because I’ve also start using them for over a year now. It is said you should start using anti-wrinkles creams not when you notice your first lines but long before that because you want to prevent their appearance.

First of all I want to let you know that I have an oily type of skin. If you girls have the same you know for sure that it takes special care and you always try to fight shine (at least I do). I have been searching for creams that will be absorbed fast by the skin without leaving my complexion looking oily but I can’t say that I’ve found the perfect one yet.

Review – La Prairie – anti-aging eye cream a cellular intervention complex-SPF15 (skincare program)

In this hot summer day I just remembered about Christmas. I could trade almost anything now for a couple of hours in the Christmas Day. I have to admit that in the last few days temperatures reached +40 degrees Celsius and as much as I love sun, tanned skin, summer clothes and spirit of seaside vacations,  I’m not a fan of these high temperatures. But this is not the only reason why I want to turn back time.  The main reason is the gift received on Christmas Day (La Prairie – anti-aging eye cream a cellular intervention complex SPF 15) which I just finished few days ago.

I received many great gifts among the years but this one is by far the most appreciated and useful one.  It came like a rescue for my eye’s skin area, because I was searching to replace my Clinique all about eyes soin total regard et contour which I was using for almost a year.  I was dreaming about La Prairie since autumn, after hearing and reading all the great results that other women experienced, but I never think of it as a Christmas present to me. I have to admit that its price is kind of expensive, around 100 Eur on EBay and even more in beauty shops, but trust me its completely justified.

A little bit of color and a drop of  shine…this is the recipe of a look that will make your boyfriend to wish to kiss over and over again.

74988 150x150 How to give volume to your lips, Technique

Apply an illuminator above the natural contour of upper lips to create  a sensation of  deepness.  I can recommend you Chanel Eclat Lumiere Highlifter Face Pen. You can find it in beauty shops available in two shades, beige rose and beige tendre-light. You can also use Eclat Lumiere to add radiance to your make and dark areas of the face. You can instantly see how it reduces the appearance of fine lines with an optical effect and lightens dark circles. It is a good product indeed but kind of expensive for some of us. Price is near 40 $.

Barefaced – Natural look is hot

070907 biel 300x400 225x300 Barefaced Natural look is hotIf you’re not a face-paint fan, take note – one of the hottest looks du jour is so natural, it’s as if you’re wearing nothing at all.

With the return of red lips and lined eyes, you’ve probably just embraced heavier make-up. However, there’s a much more understated look that’s currently key.

A natural brown shadow on lids and groomed brows look really pretty.

Make-up how-to:

  1. It’s all about the skin care. Make sure you’re following a scrupulous skincare regime ( that includes exfoliating, cleansing, toning and moisturising) to get the look off to its best start.
  2. Apply foundation just where you really need it. Erase dark circles with a liquid concealer, applying it on dark areas only, and blend.
  3. Dust on translucent powder with a big brush, but keep the bridge of your nose and cheeks powder – free; a little shine gives the illusion of no make-up.
  4. A natural brown shadow on lids, brown rather than black mascara and groomed brows looks really pretty and feminine. Fake flawless skin with highlighter on your cheekbones, the inner corners of your eyes and Cupid’s bow – a touch of tinted lip balm stops lips looking lifeless.
