L.A. COLORS 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow Palette in Wildflowers – Review, Photos, Swatches

Hi Girls!

Yesterday I stumble upon one of my many eyeshadow palettes that’s never been used so I decided to finally test it. I bought L.A. Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow Palette this summer while I was in Ibiza, because it seems to have such nice and vibrant colors. This was the first time I’ve bought something from L.A. Colors so I’m new to this brand but if anyone there has already purchased and used products from this brand please share your thoughts with the rest of us. icon smile L.A. I love metallic eye shadows and I don’t have so many shades and when I saw the 5 Metallic Eyeshadow Palette in EP 42 Wildflowers I was excited about the color combination and to tell you the truth, also about the prize. I’ve bought the palette from a regular shop where they had all kind of stuff not makeup related and I’ve paid 4.75 Eur. This is really a cheap price for an eyeshadow palette considering I’m living in a country where makeup products are very expensive. Continue reading ‘L.A. Illamasqua Individual Bronzer in Burnish – Review, Photos, Swatches

Hey girls!

I’ve got Illamasqua Individual Bronzer from Body Electrics Summer 2010 Makeup Collection a few months ago but as I said in my preview post my skin was too white at that time to use this product.

Illamasqua summer 2010 Body Electrics bronzer packaging Illamasqua Individual Bronzer in Burnish Review, Photos, Swatches

So at the end of the summer I finally gave it a try but I guess I’m still too white for the Individual Bronzer in Burnish. To be honest I never use bronzers anyway because my skin color is too pale and I prefer using a pink or peach blush from time to time.

I would definitely recommend this if you have at least a medium skin tone because otherwise the Burnish shade which is actually a golden bronze would look to dark on you. Continue reading ‘Illamasqua Individual Bronzer in Burnish – Review, Photos, Swatches’

Rouge Bunny Rouge Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in Tiger Eye Essence – Review, Photos, Swatches

Hello my dears!

Another product included in my package from Rouge Bunny Rouge (preview + swatches) is Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in No. 036 Tiger Eye Essence.

Rouge Bunny Rouge 2010 quartz eyeliner Rouge Bunny Rouge Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in Tiger Eye Essence Review, Photos, Swatches

At a rarely explored fringe of the Enchanted Garden lies the Cape of Eternal Devotion, an untamed sliver of peninsula where wild tempests rage beneath portentous skies packed dense with storm clouds. On the shore, amidst the battered rocks hide delicate pebbles of precious quartz-stone, unseen to all but the most attentive eye. These shimmering droplets are relentlessly caressed by the surging ocean; their crystalline beauty a product of the sea’s fathomless devotion.

Each full moon, scuttle-crabs comb the secret shores, seeking out the quartz droplets through the refraction of lunar rays. Plucked away from its foaming benefactor, the precious quartz is crushed and melded with magic seawater into Devotion Ink, a rare potion with which the most achingly beautiful love letters write themselves.

She who dares to adorn her eyes with this potent mix will find its tidal pull a powerful force. Still yearning to win back the eternal devotion of the sea, the languorous eyeliner of crushed quartz can inspire in others a devotion that may never be extinguished.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick in Perfume of His Gaze – Review, Photos, Lip Swatches

Hi everyone!

A few weeks ago I posted a preview with all the products that I’ve got from Rouge Bunny Rouge and today I wanna review some of them so I will start with Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick.

This lipstick is available @zuneta.com in 8 shades for the price of £ 21.00 offering 3.8 g (0.13 oz) of color.

The shade that I’ve got is called Perfume of His Gaze and as the name suggest is a really sheer lipstick, a glossy-effect sheer tan nude-beige. Is a natural color great to wear on the lips during the day or if you want nude soft pale brown lips with a discreet glossy-effect.

I’m actually wearing this shade right now together with a natural day makeup look and I like it, since I have a fair skin I think this color suits me. It’s actually more like a glossy lip balm with a subtle touch of color to me than a real lipstick and if I might add a very expensive lip balm. icon smile Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick in Perfume of His Gaze Review, Photos, Lip Swatches If you are looking for a pigmented and vibrant color this is not the type of lipstick that you wanna try. Make Up Factory Eye Colors No.12 Eyeshadow Quad – Review, Photos & Swatches

Hi everyone!

I decided to start reviewing some of the eyeshadow quads, palettes, trios, duos and all that kind of stuff that I have in my drawers for a while and I’ve been postponing for so long.

I will start with Eye Colors No. 12 by Make Up Factory which is actually an Eyeshadow Quad with 4 shades. I bought this quad from a beauty shop a few months ago for the price of 16.0o Eur.

The Eye Colors Quad No. 12 is part of the Trend Colors Makeup Collection for summer 2010.

I really love nude shades and natural makeup for an everyday look so these colors seemed so appealing to me. The packaging also attracted my attention, not sophisticated but chic and classy. The quad has a transparent glass so you can see the colors and the rest is all shiny like a mirror.

Once you open it you’ll get to see those nude colors, a duo eyeshadow applicator and a small mirror. Continue reading ‘Make Up Factory Eye Colors No.12 Eyeshadow Quad – Review, Photos & Swatches’

Kinetics Blackout Nail Polish from Backstage 2010 FW Collection – Review, Photos, Nail Swatches

Hello pretty girls!

I’m gonna start my reviews series of Kinetics Backstage Collection for fall – winter 2010 (preview post + swatches) with one of my favorite colors from this collection.

Blackout nail polish was one of the colors that I fall in love with instantly and I saw many of you like it also. Blackout is a perfect autumn winter color for me because I love wearing dark nails and this one is really dark. From a distance you may think is only a black nail polish but when you get a closer you discover that rich dark plum color with purple undertones.

I’ve notice that sometimes it can reflect  a burgundy wine shade with just a little bit of violet undertones. The color is rich, has a creamy texture which glides on easily, giving you a simple and even application.

Because it’s so dark it’s also opaque and 2 coats should be enough to get a glossy rich shade. Continue reading ‘Kinetics Blackout Nail Polish from Backstage 2010 FW Collection – Review, Photos, Nail Swatches’

Kinetics Melting Ice Cream Nail Polish from the Summer Kiss 2010 Collection – Review, Photos, Nail Swatches

Hello!

Finally the last nail polish review of Kinetics Summer Kiss Collection for summer 2010. I should have reviewed Melting Ice Cream nail polish first due to its name but since I’m crazy about ice cream I wanted to save this for last.

Too bad this Melting Ice Cream doesn’t have my favorite flavor. icon smile Kinetics Melting Ice Cream Nail Polish from the Summer Kiss 2010 Collection Review, Photos, Nail Swatches

Kinetics Melting Ice Cream nail polish summer 2010 no top coat Kinetics Melting Ice Cream Nail Polish from the Summer Kiss 2010 Collection Review, Photos, Nail Swatches

Kinetics Melting Ice Cream nail polish – 2 coats and no top coat – natural light

When I look at this Melting Ice Cream I’m thinking cappuccino mixed with vanilla flavor because is such a pastel natural color. On my nails it look so simple because it gets confused with my skin color so I’m not usually wearing pastel nail polishes.

The color is a soft natural pink beige with a creamy texture. 2 layers of Melting Ice Cream were enough for me, the color is opaque and the application went out smoothly.
