Hi everyone,
Last month I’ve done a mini preview on the Skincolor package that I’ve got from La Mer. I will review all those products in the next few weeks so keep checking my blog if any of those products got your interest.

Today I’m going to make a quick preview of Radiant Concealer SPF 25 and post some more photos but in the next few days I will return with a full review, detailed photos of this product and some before and after photos so you can see the results on my skin after I used the concealer.
Here you can take a look at the promo photo of the Radiant Concealer SPF 25 that can be available for purchase on La Mer website.

The Radiant Concealer SPF 25 is available in 3 shades:

It’s time for another Chic Review and today I will be talking about the Pure Pigment in Android by Illamasqua from their winter collection Dystopia.

This is the third review I’m doing on the Illamasqua products after the Nail Varnish in Velocity and Sheer Lipgloss in Explode and I’m really very excited about this one because black is one of the colors that I usually include in my makeup.

If you want something that you can play with, Pure Pigment is your product. It’s a metallic, high-shine, pure-color powder that highlights eyes, cheeks and brows. Mix with eye shadow, blusher or use it on its own to intense effect. Bring out your bold side.
The package
It comes in a very chic and elegant pot with a stylish design. The top is black and printed with the Illamasqua sign, while the bottom is transparent and you can see the product.

The price is £15.00 for 1.3 g (0.04 oz) but you can also get it in a bigger size. The Pure Pigment is available in 12 beautiful shades, including Android of course, and you can check them all (including swatches) right here. Clinique will release the Juiced Up Colour Collection for Spring in January 2010. I’m quite a buyer of Clinique’s products so I also have a great feeling about this collection. The new Spring Collection was inspired by the colors of the spring fruits, so we will see a lot of vibrant and pigmented colors.

The Juiced Up Colour collection is focused on the lips and the centerpiece of the collection is the new Vitamin C Antioxidant Lip Color Lip Smoothie which will make your lips soft and shiny during the day.

The collection contains: Continue reading ‘Clinique Juiced Up Colour – Spring 2010 Collection’

I have recently discover the new way to glow. I went shopping the other day and after buying something totally funny (I hope to make a post about it soon) I took a peak into the Sensuous Gold Fall Color 2009 collection from Estee Lauder . I’ve discover the Gilded Rose Marbleized Shimmer Powder which is kind of in the expensive side for me ( 36$ ) but I still decided to buy it.
I simply could not resist not buying it, since I first saw it’s chic colored case. It’s a light peachy-pink case, and you know how I love pink, and with the Estee Lauder symbol on it becomes very chic and feminine. When you open the case you’ll find the applicator along with the powder which is a rainbow of light peachy, pink, bronze and gold shimmery colors. All these colors combined together create luminous bronze- golddess glow but in the same time will give you a natural look.

I will split this article in 3 parts and dedicate this first part to makeup for your complexion. In the next two parts I will uncover you the latest trends of hot lips and sexy eyes.
DOLL FACE
Complexion like porcelain and cheeks like only dolls have are among the celebrities looks of this season!
Tip: To see exactly where you should apply your blush, look in the mirror after you made a little effort to see where your cheeks turned naturally pink. You won’t fail, if after you shook up in your hand the brush loaded with powder or blush, you start applying from the lower part of your cheek b bones to the temples. Lancome’s Mascaras have the best mascara formula I’ve ever used. Along the years I’ve tried lots of Mascaras Brands, from Max Factor and L’Oreal to Maybelline and Rimmel. Some of them were great at first, like Max Factor Masterpiece ( It was love at first sight with this baby ), but after a while – and I’m not talking months – the effect was not the same and it really ended very fast. Some of my friends were using it too and we all realized that after 3 weeks we need a new one. I like the texture of a new mascara, and I know is natural that after a few weeks of using will not have the same effect like in the beginning, but with Masterpiece all was happening very fast. Every 3 weeks I had to buy a new one, so I start searching for a new brand of mascara in the same price range.
Soon after this I took a trip by plane and I had the chance to scoop into the tax free shops. Here I found LancomeHypnose and Definicils wrapped together at a very good price. I knew Hypnose was launched in 2004 and quickly became the best world selling mascara, so tempted by the 2 in 1 price offer and reviews I’ve decided to give it a try. Nothing is more glam than dark shadow, so don’t be scared of trying it in a hurry. Blending is the key – and hides any mistakes!
- Thickly line your upper and lower lash line with a creamy black kohl pencil – Wet’N'Wild night lights kohl, has a rubber tip, use this to soften the upper lash line, taking the kohl color up on to lids slightly.
- Using your index finger, blend a dark grey powder shadow, like Collection 2000 single shadow in Moonstone, over lids, taking the color up to just under your brow bone.
- Layer a black shadow like Me Me Me Shock Shadow in graphite, over your lid and along your lower lash line. Use a small shadow brush to blend this color lightly up into your brow bone, also blend
ing it lightly out at the corners to create a cat’s eye effect.
- Line the upper and lower inner rims of your eyes with a black kohl pencil. This will block out any fleshy color between the whites of your eyes and the shadow for a more intense effect. Finish with Bourjois volume clubbing mascara in black. Try different colors for subtler smoky looks.
If you’re in a rush it’s easy to lose control of your mascara wand. Allow the mascara to dry (if you try to wipe it off straightaway you’ll just smudge it) then dip a piece of tissue in moisturiser and carefully dab over the mark to remove it.
If you like this makeup, you should also check out Cailin’s step-by-step guide on how to apply a smoky eye makeup. I find it quite helpful.
Even when you’re up against the clock, getting a Li-Lo glow is easier than you think.
Get set, glow!
A super-size body bronzer and a brush will give your chest, arms, shoulders and back ( thanks to the help of a mate) a terrific tan in next to no time. I love Rimmel London shimmer shimmering maxi bronzer, and H&M bronzer brush.
Shine in no time
You’ll be surprised just how amazing a glimmer lotion can make your skin look, especially in photographs. Apply over your shoulders and collarbone, but remember to wash your hands – you don’t want shiny palms. Try The Body Shop cranberry shimmer lotion or Superdrug shimmering body lotion.
Shimmer shake
Dust shimmer powder over your chest and shoulders for a pretty, party sparkle. I like Barry M face and body shimmer powder. Also look out for scented shimmer powders for make-him-love-you, lush smelling skin. Continue reading ‘Speedy skin’
