Simple Black Smokey Eye Makeup Look

Hello beauties!

Yesterday I had to attend a social event and I decided to wear a black smokey eye makeup look but I wanted something that can be done very easy since my right hand is still healing and I can’t afford to play with many colors. For this look I used only three colors: a black gel eyeliner pencil from Avon which I used as a black base and applied all over the lid and then blended into the crease with my MAC 217 brush. To set the color I applied a black eyeshadow with subtle shimmer from Essence but you can use any black eyeshadow you want with matte, glitter or satin finish. Into the crease for blending I used the darkest shade from Make Up Factory Eyeshadow Palette #12. Under the brow bone I used Jordana Eyeshadow in #05 Creamy Vanilla which is a matte shade matching my skin tone very similar with MAC Vanilla.

I usually don’t wear this type of eye makeup because I’m more attracted toward nude and pink shades but a change it’s good sometimes. Fall 2012 Makeup Look with Make Up Factory Palette

Hello lovelies!

Today I began to test some new makeup products and while I was playing with different shades and textures I started to create another fall 2012 makeup look. I decided to use one of my old eyeshadow palettes to create a simple eye makeup because I’m still recovering from my injury and my right hand is still bandaged so I still can’t hold the brushes very well.

When I began the makeup was quite a lot of sun outside but my complexion looks a little bit pale because the new shade of Shiseido Radian Lifting Foundation (info & photos) I’m currently testing, makes me look a little bit pale. Fall 2012 Makeup with Isadora Coral Bronze Eyeshadow Quartet

The other day I worn a simple makeup look in autumnal shades that I want to share with you today. Most of the shades I used are from Isadora Eyeshadow Quartet in #25 Coral Bronze, some nice light brown shades with shimmery textures. On my nails I’m wearing a shade from Essence Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 collection which I reviewed the other day, but more about the products I used in the list bellow.

Fall 2012 Makeup Look with MAC Pigments

Hello lovelies!

The other day I wanted to try a simple eye makeup with a few MAC pigments I received as samples from MAC Romania a while ago and which I honestly can’t find available anymore @maccosmetics.com. I’m guessing they were limited edition shades although I heard they are still available here in the stores as colors from permanent line. I will have to check out their names next time I’ll visit a MAC Store.

I was in a hurry so I didn’t want to spent more than 5 minutes on this makeup and choose something very simple but yet colorful. I also tested the new shades of Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation (preview & swatches) I received a while ago.

Here is my special post for my makeup look created by Sinziana Iaru (official website) – trainer makeup artist @Exclusive Beauty Line Academy – yesterday when I visited Kinetics nails stand at Cosmetic Beauty Hair 2012 edition (info & photos).

I chose to have a different makeup than I’m usually wearing so Sinziana did a an evening makeup look, suitable if you are going to the club, to a rock concert or any occasion which requires a more dramatic look. Was really a pleasure to have Sinziana doing my makeup and having the chance to receive a few makeup tips and talk her into revealing some of her makeup techniques.

I don’t know how many of my Romanian readers are familiar with the name Sinziana Iaru (facebook page) but she is a very talented makeup artist and a nice person who is willing to share her makeup experience with any beginner makeup artist or person interested in receiving tips, advices and more information. Last night at Estetica Awards 2012 edition she won third place with an amazing makeup creation. If earlier I presented you the new Shiseido Lacquer Rouge Fall 2012 Collection (swatches, photos & info) I though you may enjoy some of the face charts realized by Dick Page using the new shades of Lacquer Rouge.

I’m happy to see that one of the fall 2012 face charts bares the name of my favorite Shiseido Lacquer Rouge in Disco RS404 (review, swatches, photos). I also prepared for you another two face charts where Lacquer Rouge in Portrait RD 203 and Nocturne RD 607 where used.

Since Dior Golden Jungle Fall 2012 Collection (info, photos & prices) has become available online in US and until it will be seen on international counters on August 2012 I thought you might like to see some Dior Fall – Winter 2012 Makeup Trends.

Eyelids are silvered, underscored with a brisk stroke of color along the lash line – in hot pink, lagoon blue, pearly white or prairie green – that stretches toward the temple. Snappy fluorescents echo the bold colors of the clothes in Raf Simons’ Haute Couture collection for Dior. Lips, too, resonate with vivid color and the intensity of orangey reds and gourmand pinks. They also reflect the collection’s duality when, at the center of the lower lip, a touch of a different color is delicately dabbed on with a finger. Created by Tyen, Dior makeup creative director, the show look is, like Simons’ designs, a hymn to color.

I’m going to present you a second makeup look for fall/ winter 2012 – 2013 created for Kryolan by Kevin James Bennett called Blue Aura. If I were to choose between Kyrolan Blue Aura Makeup Look and Kryolan Femme Phenomenon Makeup Look for Fall/ Winter 2012 – 2013 (info, photos & products used) created by Yuko Takahashi I would go with the blue water shades.

“Blue Aura” is the name of the gorgeous fall-winter look by award winning American make-up artist Kevin James Bennett for Kryolan. In this upcoming season, ombre and “tonal” make-up are the statement makers and Bennett demonstrates this trend by creating a modified smoky eye of unexpected elegance using blue as the new black. The focal point is a modern, intensively color saturated eye make-up, framed with a flawlessly perfected complexion.

Kevin, winner of 2 Emmy Awards, is famous for his technique of creating radiantly beautiful complexions that frame his make-up art. “Make-up becomes fascinating and quite memorable when there is one featured element”, is his credo. “And smooth, perfected skin is the ideal backdrop.”

Kryolan Femme Phenomenon Trend Look for Fall/ Winter 2012 – 2013 was created by make-up artist Yuko Takahashi using her “Six Blocks” technique which involves dividing the entire area around the eyes into six natural highlight zones.

With this trend look for the coming fall and winter season, the New York make-up artist Yuko Takahashi pays homage to the power of feminine creativity and declares woman to be a natural phenomenon. “Femme Phenomenon” is the name of the expressive look that stands guaranteed to draw all eyes. What is in fact a classical beauty style is ennobled by carefully designed accents to the status of a fashion statement. This make-up marvelously suits spirited, modern women who always love to try something new – not only in life, but in fashion as well.

Takahashi combines no fewer than three beauty trends to create her fascinating look: Smokey Eyes in saturated jewel and metallic colors, dark-red glossy lips, and high contrast French nails in chevron style.
