Guerlain Terracotta Feel the Sun (official info, photos) represents the summer 2016 edition of the already legendary Terracotta Bronzing Powders. We talked about these since early spring, so we knew a little bit about them, but the other week I also got to check all the shades in person, do some swatches and play with the products. Hopefully later this month I’ll get my very own shade of Guerlain Terracotta Feel the Sun Bronzing Powder and I’ll be able to do a detailed review. There’s a shade for everyone…so you have no excuse if you are a fair/ light skin tone or a dark one, as Guerlain Terracota #feelthesun 2016 edition has thought of as all. The powder will give you a natural, sun-kissed look.
Just don’t over do it…gently apply the bronzing powder with a fluffy brush to the raised areas of the face, from the forehead to the cheekbones, then from the cheekbones to the chin, finishing with a stroke down the neck. You want to look just like you’ve spent a couple of days in the summer sun, on a beach.
The new formula is enriched with moisturizing active ingredients so you won’t have to worry about drying out your skin. Its ultra fine pigments provide a very natural result with a nude skin effect that isn’t too shiny.
The formula is wonderful scented, with notes of freesia, orange blossom, vanilla and tonka bean that will instantly take you on an imaginary getaway. Like always Terracotta products are wonderful collectors gems.
